I’ll happily hold my hands up if he turns things around and gives us a good season, but I’m not going to pretend to be his biggest fan in the meantime. That doesn’t mean I don’t get behind the team and support them every week.
-
Leave all the tic talk to kerrydale street.😂
-
Fair comment, will the "AJ out " supporters do the same then and realise that he is going nowhere, no clocks ticking etc and get back behind him and the team. Or does the agenda not suit that approach.
-
Agree pal, I really like Johnny k but amount of injuries means we have never seen his full potential
-
Maybe. Maybe not. Too many intangibles that make players and managers a good fit even from year to year at the same club.
-
If only we were clinical in front of goal. Mind you we were saying that last season.
- Today
-
No matter who the manager is he is never going to be good enough in the eyes of our usual culprits and nothing said or done will change their minds. Pathetic really. Entitlement is off the scale.
-
Lowry is the one we really miss probably best players in our squad hopefully when he comes back his teammates are up to speed with what he trys to do.
-
Hearts being humiliated by Falkirk today. McGlynn would be a massive upgrade on Alfred.
-
Johnny K has been an excellent player for us when fully fit and firing, which makes it all the more frustrating that he seems to be made of paper. Stama, on the other hand, was both shite and injury-prone.
-
Johnny k due back maybe a few weeks but he has booked an injury and one in March also! 😄, the new stama
-
Hopefully no new training injuries during the international break. Another two weeks for McGinn and Oscar to get back to full fitness. When is Johnny K due back? having a full squad available should help us maintain performance and intensity for full games
-
We are creating a decent number of chances. So if we can get the right guy and start taking more of our chances it coukd turn into a good season.

I’ve not deflected anything. I’ve defended myself and called out the wilful twisting of my words. There was no glee in my comment. It was a simple expression of my view on a bloody football forum. I also made it clear in the same thread that a manager losing their job is preferable to sticking by them at the cost of the club being relegated, with all the multiple job losses that could bring. But let’s not let logic get in the way of a good drama and pile-on. People would do well to give it a rest with the faux outrage and climb down from their ivory towers.
-
We obviously have room for improvement but although we are not reaching the heights of last seasons displays we are still night and day much better to watch than Kettlewell and Alexander teams ever were. From an entertainment viewpoint we have definitely improved over the last 3 or 4 games and hopefully we can build on that. From a points perspective we’ve had several howling individual errors that have cost us dearly and were it not for those, we could be much further up the table. I thought yesterday was a well contested even game that could have went either way amd that we have a team/squad capable of competing with any team in the league. I don’t think the manager should be under any threat of getting sacked. Having said that, I understand there are conflicting opinions but it’s up to the players and manager to put in performances to change the opinions of those people

Its in the context of someone potentially losing their job , I know fitba and fitba fans have different rules but its never nice if someone gets punted. The poster who said it can deflect all he wants but I got the jist. -
It takes two to tango guys. If we could all get back to playing the ball instead of the man, it would be nice. And I know that works both ways.....
-
Clearly we have the mock outrage patrol out. Very Partick Thistle. Quite a number of other forums have fans calling each other some very tasty language.
-
Can we close this topic? All this tick talk is doing my head in.
-
“Tick tock” can reek of whatever you want it to reek of, and you can choose to derive whatever meaning you like from it. That doesn’t make you right. The number of people reading so much into and twisting two simple words is getting quite hilarious now.
-
I hear you, and I did say that. But I also think we’ve allowed the bar to drop so far below where it was set last season that we’re now treating mediocrity as success simply because we’ve been so poor. There’s a world of difference between not matching last season’s levels and appearing to have fallen off a cliff altogether. I expected more this season. Instead, it looks like we’ve recruited poorly, both in terms of players and the manager, and we’re now seeing the consequences. We’re nowhere near JBA’s levels, but we’re also considerably further away than we should reasonably expect to be.
-
The amount of coverage 'tick-tock' is getting reminds me of the time when that walloper called Jens a legend.............whoops 🤪🤪
-
I think steady progress is being made and once we get lowry and williams our squad is looking strong. Hope AJ has contacts in norway and can find us a striker in January

Does rude health mean ye asked him how he was doing and he told ye to f**k off! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
