No chance am I heading over the door today
-
it really isn't at kick off time.
-
Certainly less rain that yesterday but wind is far stronger.
-
Club have just posted the promotion for the game today on the socials. it includes “take care when travelling. Allow extra time for travel disruption.” By the sounds of it they are expecting the game to go ahead.
-
We’ve all had shite managers at work, so we know how this ends if the rumours are true.
-
Same as yesterday and the full SPFL card went ahead as did the Championship. It would be strange to cancel todays card for same wind but less rain.
-
Checked Met Office site. Wind gust to be over 50mph at 2pm. Travel warnings in place.
-
I’ll not be going today if it’s on, I’d happily watch any game in the p1551n rain, snow, freezing cold but playing games in 60mph wind is a joke. Never watched a good game in those conditions. Dreadful for players/fans. Waste of time
-
Not good at all but not surprising if true. It would certainly explain the dismal performances and several players looking devoid of interest and direction during games. The sooner this charade ends the better for all concerned, AJ included. No harm to the guy but he is out of his depth and it’s not going to work out.
-
They went against it yesterday with the St Mirren game
-
Rumours doing the rounds of significant player discontent behind the scenes. Not a good look, if true.
-
Wind strength forecast to increase slightly before kick off. Why would the SPFL go against Police advice? They don't normally do that.
- Today
-
The rain is due to stop later this morning, but the gusty wind is expected to continue. I reckon they’ll give it until 11am before making a decision.
-
The weather today is no different from the conditions that the St Mirren game when ahead in yesterday except there was more torrential rain yesterday. Ill be surprised if the game is called off. I'm hoping it is because theres no enjoyment playing a game in these winds.
-
No way the game goes ahead. Still warnings against travelling. Wind still gusting up to 45 to 50mph at 8am
-
People tend to forget Sparrow is only 23 and still developing.
- Yesterday

The weather & conditions will be shite, we are btutal at the moment. Could be doing with another week to get priestman back & hopefully the coaches showing the gaffer how we played last season. My 8year old is desparate for the game to be on, im hoping for a duvet day 🙈🙈
-
I'm not convinced we could take a weakened Hearts team. Look what Kilmarnock got today, humped , they are pish one of the worst teams Ive seen and they stuck 3 past us, Lost 3 to St Mirren Lost 4 to Aberdeen Lost 3 to Kilmarnock Thats 3 rank teams and we've conceded 10 goals to them. A weakened Hearts team is still better than those 3. I suspect our utterly inept results will continue tomorrow.
-
Yup they have a few injury concerns which definitely helps us so fingers..........oh hold on again........'ehhh dos mojitos por favor'....🤣🤣
-
I always feel sparrow is best playing on the wing.........SALUD!!!!
-
Hearts sound to be bare bones for the game. Hope it goes ahead for that reason alone. Would give us a slight chance.
-
I think Sparrow is a good squad player for us and we can get a good return from him coming off the bench to add energy to the team as we tire.
-
The rain is due to ease off from the torrential stuff today and the wind will help ensure the park is not flooded . I think the game will go ahead but will be ruined by the wind.
-
I think our bad run will continue because we are weak all over the park.
-
Maybe not waterlogged but very mucky n slippy. Anyway hopefully it's on .
