The SPFL growing a pair of balls and taking action re pitch invasions and assaults on players? Probably not. Lumping all four together will minimise the more serious incidents and enable the Authorities to class them all as celebratory rather than violent and intimidatory. "We had a look but nothing to see here." I expect Hamilton and Stenny to be fined and Celtic to be commended for the enthusiasm and good nature of their fans. I suspect the incidents attracting the interest of our politicians has spurred our masters to 'appear' to be taking matters seriously.
-
Whatever happens there will be minimal if any serious repercussions for Celtic even though their supporters were 100% responsible for both incidents. You can guarantee that had any of our fans retaliated by also invading the park at the Celtic game then we would be being painted as the aggressors while Celtic’s fans were simply jubilant in celebration, the same as what happened with the Cup tie at Ibrox where Celtic fans invaded the park. Celtic have too many people in high places for anything major to befall their way in terms of suitable punishment.

Delayed traumatic reaction to the Pyros. A deserved fine for Motherwell.
-
I had to go back and look at it after seeing your post. It had Went right over my head, although that’s not hard, I’m only 5’4”
-
Fine for Motherwell.
-
A stern talking to, 20 quid fine suspended for 2 minutes, some hand waving to distract from that VAR decision.
-
Aye, I believe QR1 & QR2 draws are made at the same time, then the QR3 draw is made after QR1 but before QR2 is played

'Disciplinary investigations have been launched into Motherwell v Celtic and Celtic v Hearts in the Scottish Premiership as well as two end-of-season lower league play-off fixtures, the SPFL has announced' https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c70vk78271ro Any guesses where this is headed?

That was actually pretty good, took me about five minutes before the penny dropped though. Blame my English accent.

In previous years I would probably have agreed with you, but not this time. Provided we retain the core of the team and add suitable replacements for those moving on, we should be capable of taking on the non-seeded teams. We'll also be able to compete against some of those that are seeded. A lot will depend on finding a good replacement for JBA as early as possible to allow familiarisation and coaching in what will undoubtedly be a bit of a different approach to the game from JBA. I'm hoping that we are seeded and get a favourable draw that allows the tour to be more than one trip to Wales or Ireland.
-
This may sound ridiculous BUT characters like Russell Martin and Wilfred Nancy may actually flourish at Motherwell. I don't think there would have been any guarantee that JBA would have been successful at Celtic simply because of the pressure from day one I always think of guys like Graham Potter who clearly has something about him as a manager but could not make the step up to the big club pressure.
-
Oh dear. You do realise that they'll probably all be 'exclusively revealed' in the sun or the record as 'widely tipped' or 'bookies favourites' now, don't you ? Along with Scott Brown, Neil Lennon and Barry Ferguson 'ruling themselves out'....
-
We’re going to get papped out of Europe at a canter no matter who we face. Europe is a big thing for the club on paper and we have deserved the qualification spot, but for me the reward was how good we were when we were at our best this season and the big results that went with it. Our ‘Euro tour’ will be the usual anti climax or potential humiliation as it always is for us. The big bonus from European qualification for me is a seeded spot in the last 16 of the league cup where hopefully (though it quite often doesn’t go this way for us admittedly) we can get a more favourable draw.

He's a busy boy, that Askou....
-
And in earlier in the season he was "just the man for Rangers" before being on his way to Aberdeen.
-
I’d have Russell Martin purely to see us still play better football than Rangers. That and his team building events are apparently exceptional
-
You did well. My A.I. gave me John McGlynn, Scott Brown and Russell Martin.
-
Is Luc Nijholt still a phone call away ?

It's effectively the close season. The papers have nothing to write about. Take any player from any team who the footballing press have noticed, link them to both Celtic and Rangers in an article with no reference source, hey presto. Clicks ! Next week it'll be Barney Stuart, some cunt from Hearts and some other clubs 'Player of the Year' winners. Remember, it was only a couple of days ago, our manager was going to Celtic.
