Need a helluva great pair of binoculars!!! š¤Ŗš¤Ŗ

I'm doing this AI predictions ACCA thing with a couple of mates and they've got us down to get beat today, but on the other hand, that means I have money on us losing, which means a certain win !

I wouldn't be surprised of the likes of Robinson, Nicholson, and Stuperwvic do end up on loan, but it is unlikely to be before the winter window as they are all still a fair bit away from being ready, still doing injury rehab. By the time they have recovered from injury, they will have to alowly ramp up their training load, and it's going to take weeks to get anywhere close to match fitness, then they will have to fight for a place when there are multiple people in front of them in each position. Their best chance is if we have a run of injuries while the window is closed (which isn't that far fetched based on the last couple of seasons) but they're at a huge disadvantage from not having a pre season. On the numbers, there will definitely be some outgoings, both permanent and on loan, and there's no doubt that clubs will be sniffing around our squad come January, so I'm not too concerned about us being bloated for a few months. We're still dealing with the injury mess from last season, hopefully we have some more luck this season so that we can get our squad to a more manageable state.

Where is Nick just now in terms of fitness...always thought he looked a good player but if he can't demonstrate that to jba because of fitness, it doesn't look good . Robinson didn't look the part for me but seemed to do OK at Dundee.
-
Tbh I can't think of any just now either but you've got to imagine there are young guys making their way in the game at that stage just now. It's not a market we tap into very much , maybe it's cheaper to go abroad, shame cos I'd like us to have more Scots in team. See there's a young Australian, Priestman, being linked with us now.
-
Yes, it is. Maybe the likes of Luca Ross could go out on loan to a League One or Championship side. Dylan Wells? Maybe Kofi Balmer will move on as it seems he isn't fancied by JBA. There's also 3 long term absentees amongst the 28 0r so.
-
Looking to watch the game just from Hamilton. Can I do this? Or use a VPN?
-
Yeah, thatās a good point. Maybe McGhee, though Iām not sure heās match ready yet.
-
A squad of 28 is getting too big to be manageable and that's before we bring in what I hope to be defensive minded additions. There are 11 forward players in our squad, would expect that to reduce to 7 over time. Can't be good odds for Nicholson, Robinson, Stuprevec , Sule (even when they are fit).
-
Itās clear that JBA has had to build the squad as though Robinson, Nicholson, and Stuparevic donāt exist. Once theyāre fit, it makes perfect sense to send them out on loan to regain match sharpness, as they wonāt be walking straight into JBAās team as things stand.
-
It would seem unlikely. He appears to be more "languid" than the type of player we have gone for this season. Not to say he wont get an opportunity, but I dont see him fancying a high press.
-
I know and agree with your point. I was just responding to the person saying that his team were in the lower reaches of the Belgian second tier...
-
It will probably never happen, but I'm curious to see if StupareviÄ fits into JBA's style.
-
I think Nicolson in particular deserves some game time and Robinson does too. Don't think it's fair that someone goes through a very lengthy rehab just to be shoved out on loan (Robinson)

He did. And we did get relegated with McAllister, which led to his first major (?) title when we won the First Division in 1885.

Good signing from us today hope he cooks for us while he's here. I would like to see at least one CB join the club soon and in an ideal world one more body in midfield to help us with rotation and injury cover. If we get that this will be our best summer in a while. Seen some folk talk about Nicholson and Robinson earlier I'll just throw my 2 cents in Nicholson id say get him through his injury and loan him out. Decent player when fit but the move here's not worked for either party. Robinson i would like to see him in the team I honestly forgot he was our player until I seen his name on the programme last week when looking for names of youngsters who came on at st Johnstone. Stuperavic I'd like to see play for us when fit if I remember right was a horror tackle that injured him at Morton? So jury's still out on that one.
-
Didn't mean we should I seen someone earlier saying it looked likely I was just stating if we do move him on Wednesday should find a replacement who's sellable for a profit. Not hey let's move him on for the sake of it.
-
You can envisage a scenario where any combination of the three players in question, who are all ooc at the end of the season incidentally, return from injury but JBA doesn't think they warrant gametime. It would be fairer to send them out on loan for 6 months to put them in the shop window and boost their chances of a deal elsewhere.
-
Wait till we get pumped ramorra. That'll sort it.
-
Don't know about anyone else but I am fed up with all of this positivity, jb has a lot to answer for š¤£š¤£š¤£

He was playing in the SPL against us at one point with Ross County

I canāt think of any championship players whoād be a standout player in the premiership? without doubt the top leagues in places like Belgium and Netherlands etc are better than the SPL. Certainly 3/4 of the teams are. Iām not sure the leagues below in these countries are much better though? i still hope this guy is good though, it could be a good move for us and him. š

Several players aren't JBAs players. Don't think that should come into it. I'll caveat this by saying I understand the points you are making but I personally think it would be pretty unfair of the club to shove players out on loan that they have supported through injury
-
Welcome aboard Regan Charles Cook Should be a good addition to the squad

Don't you not think there are good players in our championship? After the European results this week, I'd say the Belgian and most European leagues are well above ours.
