I think we can also add Matty Connelly to the up in the air list. I count 19 definitely under contract but that includes Lennon Miller, but doesn't include Jordan McGhee. It depends too on whether we include Wells and Ross as being in the senior squad.
-
Think most people will have an idea of who is staying or going. Not that hard to work out given the number of players out of contract
-
Well if you make four appearances and you are shite no wonder you are moved on -anyway I understand your point but I don't think many players this season will fall into the category of you are shite and you need to go aka Gordon Im obviously just not up to speed with all things Motherwell
-
Agreed, Wimmer was asked if the Ross County game was a last chance to impress for some players and the answer was a firm no as he had already made his decisions.
-
Yep, so SK moved them on. SK said quite a lot about Danzaki at the time and not much of it was good. Ultimately, a club was found for him and a deal made so that Motherwell wouldn't have to pay off the remainder of his contract.
-
Danzaki was a bit of a shit show to be fair. Nothing online to say how he departed just that he left. He played four games for us - no wonder his contract was ended Mcginley apparently departed by mutual consent - Efford too. Efford apparently didn't want to stay with Motherwell - think that's pretty well known
-
Time we had a striped home top really. We've had some nice striped away ones over the years.
-
They will know ok, someone mentioned Wimmer was away to Germany today. Players will know, the list will be soon I reckon.
-
Danzaki, Efford and McGinley all had contracts which were terminated by SK. There may have been others but those are the three that spring to mind.
-
At the time when the jester kit came out I was originally disappointed, reason I say that is the 1994-1996 home kit was my favourite ever and I wanted it to continue I do look back years later though and I think it is a cracking looking shirt , I had the original . Now I have the retro
-
Hopefully its a long list
-
You're right but I wasn't talking about Callum. Was talking about Gordon. Nothing to do with Slattery. Also not sure who Kettlewell moved on - am sure he moved players out on loan. I honestly don't care that much right now tbh -it's up to Wimmer. I'll be very surprised if we move Gordon on
-
Surprised they didn't know already. Thompson, Paton, Blaney, and Seddon are the only ones that would be up in the air from the main squad I'd think. If blaney is still injured he might get a Tanner type deal. Davor and Moses must have had a good idea, and Callachan as well. Casey would be more in the "he'd be telling us" camp. There will be the young players as well, with Luca Ross being the only one that's been extended that I know of. I count 18 definitely staying, but that includes Luca Ross, dylan wells, and Lennon Miller. It doesn't include Seddon, who has an option. There doesn't look be much room for mutualing anyone who isn't long term injured.
-
But what did you think of the kit?
-
Wether players are under contract or not they can still be sold or contracts paid off to leave the club, this is not a new phenomenon as kettlewell proved by moving on a number of players in his time as manager , only to replace them with worse options. So if the right offer comes in wee Calum will be gone .

-
As much as people think we had a shit season, I keep saying judge the season in May, not before, we achieved an 8th place finish 17 points clear of the relegation spot, 12 clear of the playoff and secured a 41st consecutive season in the top league, so for me that's a decent season. Room for improvement yes there is but all told given the constraints we had re injuries etc we had a decent season.
-
Heard from a reasonably good scource that he was telling the players today who he wants to keep and those not being offered new terms.
-
If Tony Watt has been told he won't be here next season, you'd have to imagine that the others whose services are no longer required will have been informed too.
-
From his comments, I suspect MW has already made his mind up on departures. However, there may still be some outstanding negotiations to wrap up.
-
So did I and I dislike it even more now.
-
With the Cup Final not until next week, I'd have expected the contracts to run past that point. So they may still be deciding who they are keeping.. But I hope not!!
-
When we expecting the GTF list?
-
Gordon is still under contract. So he's not not going anywhere - and I would keep Casey but Casey is probably off and it's down to Wimmer anyway as to who stays I absolutely get our shortcomings - not trying to make light of them. Doesn't really matter what I think - up to Wimmer
