  1. Past hour
  2. That's 2 in 3 games for him now. Only half time too.
  3. Today
  4. Theo Bair has scored for Lausanne against Breiðablik tonight
  5. Lennon's been asking for more game time but managers saying you can't hurry son. You just got to wait. He thinks they can beat Cagliari but it's against all odds. 🤣🤣
  6. Maybe Lennon was singing "I can hear defeat coming in the air tonight" 🤣🤣
  7. It does make a mockery of some Motherwell fans at the time berating the club for not having him tied down on a longer contract...
  8. 26 years old, signed 12 different contracts since being with us, been utter shite in every one other than his 10 game burst at Motherwell. He's the reason it's sometimes better to jump at the big payday. A 4 year contract with Rangers on a reputed 5 grand a Week. Should be a wealthy young man whose done fuck all to merit a life changing contract. But hey good luck to him wish I could get my money as easy.
  9. Jake Hastie moves to Airdrie on a 4 month loan (being made permanent next window).
  10. Yesterday
  11. Cheers mate. I had a look later in the evening and found the same. But also no e-ticket and last day for postage was yesterday... don't make it simple do they!!
  12. Managers' spells typically end by being sacked when they fail or being poached when they succeed. I know which one I prefer.
  13. Not really concerned about Jens going. When he was appointed some of our fans were going - who the hell is he - how's that? I personally think he's in it for the long haul but you can disagree if you like
  14. Robinsons had a go in England and failed. SPL is his level. He doesnt play attractive football, isnt a fashionable cultured foreign import & hasnt held positions at big European clubs. Hows that?
  15. Mikka Biereth on as a sub for Monaco v Man city in the champions league tonight.
  16. I think we should go to sellik with belief but at same time before Saturday folk were panicking as we hadn't won a game. I think JBA has a revelation and the signings been great. Welsh has been immense and big blow he isn't available. The twins in midfield have also been great. If we had 5700 fans there in Saturday in pishy weather it just shows what happens when you have a team that want to entertain. Happy days
  17. I’m just waiting for Anti-wells next interview where he claims that our success is built on him laying the foundations, building the team, creating the perfect conditions for how our style of football is what he was moving towards, how Wimmer & Askou have only used his ideas and that if he hadn’t been forced out by us ungrateful gits we’d have won the first five games and been top of the league, stick on for the title and would have qualified for the champions league group stages next season.
  18. I'm hoping if good work continues we can hopefully extend jba contract given extra funds we may get. In crowds and merchandise and cup runs. Possible League position if higher. In addition. I think he did say it's a longer term project and may want to see it through to take him to next level. He will also get time here if mistakes made and would look better on his CV if here for a few years as other jobs have been more brief.
  19. Stevie Robinson hasn't been poached - no reason why Jens will be
  20. Sorry my mistake, still seems a bit high, unfortunately above my budget,in general footballs too expensive for me and son, away games are far and few.
  21. That's not what he said 😬🤣 Ha! My mum was there too and she thought he was lovely too The meals the players get... -what a chef they have - really nice guy too - cooked us a veggie meal as well. My brother texted me and said - did mum say anything embarrassing 🤣- no. Then he went did you get any snippets of team information - if I told you I'd need to kill you. His first text was - has he quit yet (he thinks he's funny) I should have been a journalist the amount of questions I asked him - but the impression I got is that he's really happy to be here Super nice person. The person that bids this year will have a good experience
  22. Sounds like a great day, must have been awkward when he said the team has looked stronger since Slatts has been injured!!.......Lol....just kiddin 😜😜
  23. I met JBA yesterday - bid to meet Ketts last Christmas through the well society auction and then was supposed to be going for a meal with Wimmer -he had a flat tyre the day we were supposed to meet him. Super thanks to Greg from the well society for taking me and my mum out for lunch that day and picking us up at Hamilton too Big thanks to Sally too - for your kindness and patience. I'm going to drop off a gift for you and Greg soon Jens is super nice - and he put up with all my questions (I talk a lot).
  24. BBC now giving Saturday's attendance as being 7,195. Whatever the precise number, the trend is certainly very encouraging. If attendances are higher there's also more spend in the shop, catering kiosks and on the HT draw.
  25. I would imagine, if sustained, the first significant upturn in attendances in 20 years will also reinforce that fans want entertained. The die hards like myself will turn up every week no mater the shite on show but fans who pick n choose need more than blind loyalty to part with £25 every second week.
  26. This is exactly it. The Well Society & New Board deserve a lot of credit getting us to where we are so quickly. We now have an identity as a club and as a team. We are financially secure for the short to medium term. The fanbase is fully engaged. The trick now is to maintain that and use it as a platform for continuous improvement. Mistakes will be made along the way, but as long as we get more right than we get wrong then there is no reason to believe that we arent entering a period of (relative) success.
