I also had no issues with JT this evening. He plays much better from wide right, and was involved in a lot of our play. Unlucky not to sneak that one in at the far post in the first half.

Watched the game at my hotel (internet better in reception area) about to say the same thing and I’m one of his critics for constantly ignoring better options - happy with his performance tonight.

Good performance. 3 good goals. Team looks like they are really enjoying themselves. We now look like we have a deep squad and can make like for like substitutions without weakening us. Things are shaping up nicely. Not sure I get the Maswanhise comments tonight. I have been critical of some of his performances since February. However he worked his socks off tonight working back and continually showed for the run in behind only for the ball to never come. Sure he tried a few things that didnt come off, but he never hid and kept wanting the ball. Happy for him to get stick when he deserves it, but Im not sure he did tonight.

Tawanda is getting some amount of stick on here. That’s 4 games into the SPL season. 1 goal and 2 assists. He is not a natural goal scorer, never was and is now back in his best position on the wing. He has also been wearing an awkward face mask. I think give him a chance to get back to his best.

Well, that was a good night out. The sending off certainly helped, but I felt that it was justified at the time, and I've not changed my opinion having seen it on Sportscene. I felt that, for all the neat build up play, it was going to be a long night. The Utd. keeper made some smart saves and there was some poor finishing before big Seb put one away. Great technique and a lovely finish. We seemed to lose concentration a bit for 10 minutes after that and the game got a little too open, but settled again and took complete control. The possession stats must be very one sided, and the pass count must be off the charts. Once the second went in there was no way back for Utd. A wonderful goal in build up and execution from Lowry. He really is showing us what he is capable of. The third, by Levitt, was another neat bit of interplay and a tidy finish. I guess that I was a bit disappointed that the team then decided that 3 was enough and spent the remainder of the game controlling possession and conserving energy. Very understandable, but I would have liked them to go on and get another couple. Anyway, nothing much to complain about. A good time to be a Well fan.

Lots of good performances tonight. Moorman and JKL strolled the first half. Jake looked good second half. Longelo and Hodge both put in big performances. Went for Lowry. His overall play was excellent and topped it with a lovely goal. As I said on Sunday, he will be the difference maker this season. Special mention for Kanga who showed a bit of what he is about tonight, but also Maswanhise, who worked his socks off both directions and cut a frustrated figure making the run for the diagonal pass that never came.......

I confess I was frustrated with him 2nd half but funny when you see highlights and things you miss. Also utd red card not as wild as I first thought....but hey ho 🤣🤣

Am lot of plaudits for Lowry tonight, and rightly so, he had a very good game. However, for me Joe Hodge gets MotM. He played things simple and very neat, while also being tenacious in the middle of the pitch.

Yip, as much as some have moaned and groaned tonight about him those were two good assists.

Lowry for me. Getting better all the time and I think he will look even better the more the team gel and get on the same wavelength. Moorman and Hodge also strolled it.

Imagine having Fadinger, Priestman, Hodge and Levitt as central midfield options, with Lowry as the playmaker?!

Some really nice stuff played and should really have been at least 3 - 0 at half time. Can't remember ever seeing three guys getting their first goal for us in the same game.

With players coming back from injury and plenty options then Maswanhise needs to up his game or he will be in bench. Williams, RCC, Kanga, Sparrow, Said all options in wide roles

Some lovely football and great goals, thought we were wasteful from some great moves in the first half. Sure we were up against 10 men but you can only beat whats in front of you and we did. Lowry was outstanding. I'm done with Manwanhise. He does not merit being an automatic fist choice. Windows closed so hes not going anywhere time to let him know his performances are deserving of his arse being on the subs bench.
