I thought you had to throw them a few million quid every 6 months before they let you join the Board there.
-
I never looked that closely tbh, but i agree it does have a definite whiff of a piss take about it, but given the shambles Rangers are in nothing would surprise me.
-
And force them to make Hanley the playmaker, worked a treat
-
No way will Maswanhise start on bench, that would be crazy. I would expect Hendry or Stama to come in for RCC, wasn't that impressed eith RCC on Tuesday

Is that not a banter/comedy page?

It seems the blue uglies want Alan Burrows as their next CEO to replace Stewart. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19VC4HM4P4/

From Jim Paterson's interview when he joined the other day, it sounded like that was pretty much the plan.
-
What would be brilliant is if this style of football was adopted right down to the young academy boys. As a club we push this style of play and it becomes the identity of the club.
-
If the biggest complaint is that we have the top scorer in the league playing for us, we're doing OK.

Didn't work for Kilmarnock 😉

I think sparrow will keep his place & longello will remain on the bench. Priestman did enough to justify a starting spot but he has major competition for it in our midfield. I would think RCC misses out. Despite being on fire, could see jens throwing a curveball and holding Mawinesse back for an hour or so. Of course all of that may be bollocks
-
I fully expect Slattery and Fadinger to start to add a little more robustness to the midfield. But I also wouldn't be surprised if I'm completely wrong.
-
Dont think there is any chance of that. The team on Tuesday was picked for the specific purpose of targetting Hibs weaknesses and rotating some players to manage their load given our upcoming schedule. Hearts will pose us a different range of problems and those rested on Tuesday will be good to go again. No idea what team JBA will put out, but I expect there will beat least 2 changes. Be interesting to see if Stama is back in the squad. No mention of whether he was injured, ill or had family issues. Good to see SOD is fit again. He is having a good season.

I think he should play the same team that played on Tuesday. I actually think playing with a central striker worsens the team. Our best player Priestman on Tuesday, deserves another chance and Koutroumbis gives us more defensive cover. No changes - which is mental considering we have Slattery and Fadinger.

We are playing some cracking football & every reason for us to all be positive & confident about saturday. At the risk of sounding like MJC, we are still a work in progress& we are still learning. We can definitly be "got at". Del will be all too aware of what we are not good at. Still, lets just give them the scudding they should have got at tynecastle!!
-
A wee tap on the calf muscle for Shankland early on just to help him see if he’s ok to keep playing 😈
-
Genuinely looking forward to this. Been on great run and I am sure wont relish playing us. With a crowd i reckon at least 10,000 it hopefully will be a cracking atmosphere and hopefully our great run can continue. Starting line up should be interesting as plenty permutations to consider. COYW

I was thinking about the predictable "JBA will be attracting other clubs" chat. I obviously don't want him to move on any time soon, but what he is building is laying a great foundation. Half the teams in Europe play this way (which is why we see the "obscure" teams pass rings round Scottish teams in the early Euro rounds) - so there should be plenty of candidates who can continue to develop the team in a similar way. All we need is the intent. Similarly, half the players in Europe (and around the world) are developed playing this style, so we should be able to recruit ones that continue with our new approach. What's also going to be interesting is whether any other Scottish clubs go down this path when they inevitably change managers at the end of the season.

Team Saturday if i was to guess will be Ward Mcginn Gordon Welsh Longelo Watt Fadinger Just Slattery TJ Hendry maybe TJ ST and RCC of the left but i don't expect any more changes than that
-
I have literally no idea what team is going out on Saturday and I think this is quite exciting rather than daunting. We don’t have a striker (in my view Hendry isn’t good enough)but we have the leagues top goalscorer and we have 7 excellent midfielders to choose from. defensively we might have Longello back but Johnny K and Sparrow did extremely well the other night and Welsh Gordon and McGinn are doing good at the moment. Jambos have a few injury doubts including max headroom so bring it on!!!

I assumed that Iredale was subbed to avoid him being red carded. After JT gave him a roasting he simply went totally out of control and could have picked up 3 yellow cards in a crazy 15 minute spell. Part of our gameplan was to "deny them access to their best players" according to JBA.
