  1. Past hour
  2. We aren't the only club in that position and Aberdeen are at the bottom of the table.
  3. We’re basically all fur coat and no knickers and we’ve so far been unable to show that we can win games. We were never going up to Aberdeen and knocking them out of the Cup no matter who they signed.
  4. Hope your right. This forum was generally positive about the signing when he arrived. Time wil tell.
  5. Hendry will come good. Will get circa 15 for us this season.

  7. https://x.com/kilmarnockfc/status/1962923478333681973?s=46&t=8C9VuM5V_21MGVj9jGzzoA Kilmarnock have an even worse (for us) camera angle for that equalising goal on Saturday. So frustrating!!!
  8. This ties now got a lot tougher. Aberdeen have signed Scotland international Armstrong on free. Along with Nisbet and Swedish winger that they acquired previously. They will now be much better team.
  9. Not sure what part of my post is that remarkable that it has drawn 2 negative posts. At no point have I stated Welsh was a bad player, or wouldnt do a job for us. Im just of the opinion he isnt the most impressive Celtic defender Ive ever seen and we are taking him on loan with an injury record that would suggest he might not be able to play a lot of games. If he has goals in his locker, thats a good thing. I do hope he is the second coming of Paolo Maldini however, and can lead us to a cup win!

  11. There are also the Cooperation Agreements this season, aimed at players aged 16 - 21, where they can be moved at will between loan club and parent club all season. Wilson is not part of those, but a couple of other youngsters are.
  12. Had a wee search and found this posted in reply to the same question re Loans. Ties in with what I understood to be the situation. The Partnership agreement with Stenny and Cowdenbeath regarding young Scottish players falls outside the normal Loan terms. Quote "Clubs can now only make loan deals during the two transfer windows between July/August and January and players can only be brought into clubs on either half season or full season loans. The changes mean that players can no longer be brought into clubs outside of the transfer windows on short-term deals with many clubs often bringing in players on a month`s loan during the season. The changes also mean that clubs cannot recall a player until the transfer window reopens, the only exception to this is with goalkeepers. Parent clubs can recall a goalkeeper with just 24-hours notice if they do not have two fit goalkeepers at their club. Clubs can still recall players to feature for their development squad during the loan period." So on that basis, Wilson returning before January is a non starter. I guess new rules were introduced to stop clubs abusing the system by swapping players back and forward, sometimes for a month or less at a time.
  13. He can only re-register with us in January, different for a goal keeper (in an emergency), different for Stenhousemuir.
  14. A goalkeeper under an emergency situation. Stricter rules for outfield players. My understanding anyway
  15. Sorry to say this but I don't care about Wilson right now - he's a talent but he's not good enough just now and all the talk about cover for Manny is premature in my view as he's not injured Wilson has had his chance and he's lost confidence and not ready just now
  16. I believe so. We recalled Matty.
  17. I'm not sure that's correct as I understand it a loan player can be recalled anytime the parent club deems it necessary, plus Wilson is already our player so we are not adding a player so no need to wait for a transfer window. It really depends on the fine print in the loan agreement and what both clubs have agreed on.
  18. They aren't great when you go and pick them up from Fir Park before the collection time to find out they've already been given to the SLO as happened to me the other week. This isn't a criticism of Motherwell. Its Hearts and Aberdeen that don't want to do a digital option for some reason
  19. Yeah I get that. But I either have to pay 2.50 to get them delivered or go to Fir Park to get them. I have disabilities and it's a struggle some days - I don't see why fans have to pay an extra 2.50 for postage just because some clubs can't give both options Btw. I get some older people might struggle but my mum is 76 and knows how to download a digital ticket - all I am saying is that there should be both options. It's off putting when clubs don't give fans the choice and they could do it easily in my view
  20. Yup, paper tickets also great souvenirs. I have my match day ticket from 91 Cup final (£7!!),
  21. Digital tickets are fine but many older fans still prefer a paper copy for various reasons.
  22. There is no need for paper tickets in this day and age surely -or if there is there should surely be a choice that you can get a paper or a digital ticket. Not offering a digital option is ridiculous in my view Fans have to pay to get tickets posted out or go to Fir Park to collect. A digital ticket makes much more sense
  23. I don't mind paper tickets too much, but I like to be able to choose my seat where possible.
  24. Wilson's loan only runs until January - although they are often extended.
  25. I think a return clause can be in any loan deal but that any return can only be made in a transfer window. So January is the earliest Wilson could be recalled. There can be an exemption for goalkeepers if SPFL authorise emergency cover. But that does not apply to outfield players. Scottish youngsters can now move back and forward as long as they are loaned to a lower league Club under the new Partnership scheme. Raith are not our 'partners' so that rules out that possibility.
