Weve taken 40 points from a possible 69 after 23 games thats a bawhair under 58%. If we keep the same percentage for the remaining 15 games then we will end up with 66 points. I would suggest a 66 point total would be enough for 4th or maybe 3rd and would see us earn another European adventure.

think based on previous seasons the team that finish 4th tend to end up anywhere from 50-55 points. We'll need probably 4 more wins in this round and a few draws as well as 1 or 2 wins post split.

What is your arithmetic for us securing 4th?

Same thoughts it as tighter than appeared as inevitably Polworth was moving towards goal and away from defensively line very similar situation in Falkirk game but goal was awarded Without trying to raise people blood pressure re VAR 😞 the BbC broadcast different views of Killies and Falkirks checks. The Falkirk goal looked well offside on Sportscene and I didn’t see any lines being used (or not on highlights at least). Could the length of time taken be different because of VAR placement? Im not sure how it works but will definitely take it yesterday 😁

With 5 games in 14 days on the way I'd expect some rotation against Livingston. Team for me would be Ward Sparrow Mcghee Mcginn Longelo Fadinger Preistman Maswanhise Just Said Stama Rest Slattery and SOD and get some more minutes into Bjorgolfsson before the busy period.

I thought the first yellow card for Lowery was correct and Walsh got it spot on. Unintentional as it may have been Lowery went over the ball and caught our player on the shin. Happy to see a yellow given for tackles like that. The second yellow was just stupidity from the Killie player although some referees would have bottled taking action. The offside I thought was clear enough although not as blatant as I thought at the game. Not quite in line but everyone around me on the POD could not understand why the VAR decision took so long. I thought tv highlights showed Polwarth was clearly offside. Tight maybe but not in doubt. All three talking points I thought resulted in the correct outcome although they did give McCann something to deflect from how ineffective his tactics and players were after the first 20 minutes. He appears to have adopted the Kettlewell teflon approach.

This will be another tough game on a poor pitch but mind you we played on a poor pitch yesterday (what on earth has happened to our bowling green!). I think we could take 2500-3000 to this game which would be amazing. COYW

Its quite fun now when the opposition go down to 10 men. Before we'd not make the most of it and struggle, but now its pretty much game over for them. We just pop them off the park. 73% possession yesterday.

agree - what a time to be a Well fan. The most entertaining football in most of our living memories , fabulous league record and fingers crossed for another cup run. We're only 12 points away from securing 4th in the league. Keep the good times rolling.

100% agree with all of this. Especially McCann. I know they are in a relegation dogfight, but they were leaving the boot, shoulder and anything else they could land on our players all game. The fact Walsh let so much of it go is quite ironic when you see tge 2 yellow cards Lowery got. He was far from the worst offender. Pleasing to see us get the better of that kind of football, just as we have just about everything else that has been tried to stop us this season. If we hadnt thrown away so many points before clean sheets became a thing, we would undoubtedly be in a title race. For now though, Europe and a good Cup run beckons.

The next 2 games wont define our season. But if we can win them both it will certainly put is in a really strong position in the run in to the split. Livvy are a tough team to play against, but the league doesnt lie and there must be a reason they havent won since August. We are much further along the road than we were when we went there last time out, so I expect a much better performance. If we can keep another clean sheet we should have enough about us to take at least one chance and win the game. Top 6 is within our grasp. We just need to go take it. After that we can start looking up the way!

We thoroughly deserved our win yesterday and I enjoyed it apart from the first 20 minutes or so when we were caught a bit cold by Killie's tactics. Over the piece though we played some lovely football and scored well worked goals. Our leading cushion allowed JBA to practice more rotation and bring on Thor, Luca Ross and young Rocco McColm, none of whom disappointed. Very early days but Thor looks as if he'll fit well into our system. A real team performance but I thought that Just, Sparrow and Fadinger and Priestman stood out just a little bit more. The latter was my MOTM for his constant movement and making himself available. Whilst individuals are important of course its really good to see a successful system in which rotation makes minimal difference. In past seasons if one or two star players were injured, the whole system was compromised. The one down side for me was Killie's style. Outwith our control of course, but it left a bad taste. Going out to deliberately injure opponents is not for me. I can just about thole Alexanderball and Kettleball but McCannball is not for me. That and extreme pettiness reflects badly on them. One example of that was when there were 2 balls on the pitch and the ref allowed us to take a quick free kick; the Killie player could easily have tapped the redundant ball out of play but instead chose to kick it into the middle of the action area causing play to stop. That and a total unwillingness to retreat 10 yards at free kicks. Thats down to weak refereeing and questionable management from Neil McCann. All that shouldn't detract from a good performance, big win and large home crowd. Its great to be a Dosser these days.

As many have said we were spoilt for choice yesterday. I thought SOD, Just, Fadinger and Slattery were all excellent, but has to be Priestman for me, he’s slotted in like he’s been playing there for us for years, a class act!

In hope so!!! Going to have to work for it, as in play our style of football and play it well, taking our chances when they come along. Could be another great weekend for us in making gains on teams around us. If we can take 3 points then we will be improving our position with respect to at least 2 of these 4 teams.
