It would help a lot if you could start all your jokes with this.

It's MJC predicting us to win that scares me 🤣

JBA will be gone at some point. We just have to enjoy it while it lasts. Whats happening is something special. Embrace it & enjoy it for what it is.
- Today
-
No use worrying about where JBA or any of the players will end up. Let's enjoy what we are doing until the end of the season and let what happens next happen next.
-
Aberdeen fans seem to think this is a holding appointment as their new manager won't arrive until the summer.
-
It is kinda the Motherwell way 🤔 The Cups tend to torture us over the years.
-
Hope they aint waiting for jens

Wil our new no9 be given a start from the off,a bit of shuffling about required, was quite impressed with his bit part apperances, looks to have a bit about him, strong, good movement with decent pace.

These are the latest figures including Wednesday. 24/25 shown for comparison. I have to be honest I never thought I'd ever see the day where the home attendance ran between 6 and 7000 nearly every home game. Frankly Fir Park generates a good atmosphere with >7000. A good comparison is the two home games against Kilmarnock, in the first game they brought 1200 fans and the second game they brought 500 fans that's a 1000 increase in home fans for one fixture. I know we all probably have some folk who moan about everything somewhere near us in the stands but it's great that the overwhelming majority of fans have totally bought into it. It's rare to hear any negative shouts to boot it long. It's a real pleasure going to Fir Park these days. My only worry is we only have this kind play for one season.
-
That has to be good news going into an important double header!
-
I think the average home attendance is definitely north of 6000. I would guess that under Kettlewell it would have been around 4000. Certainly been as low as 3500 for midwinter relegation scraps. That benefit to the club of that additional revenue over the course of the season cannot be underestimated.

Gammon flavour, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Can’t beat a canny bag….

Yup if Jens can see the potential and progress then I hope he continues with us. Is only 43 so plenty time to move on to bigger things. PS. In other news...................Tudor is interim coach with spurs till end of season........he'll need to climb a mountain to keep them up. 🤪🤪🤪 ( one for fans of 1980's crisps adverts) 🤣🤣

I would think he is destined for better than Celtic. does he have the patience to stay another year? He seems to be loving it but does he have the desire to stay and take us to the next level or will he be enticed away by the opportunity of a big pay day and a bigger club with better resources? the boards job is to convince him that he can still do both. By staying here another year (longer would be better for us) he can “finish” his project here and help set us up to stay on this path when he’s gone. He can then move up possibly to even better options than he will have at the end of this season. Would be fantastic to see how far he can take this team but it’s hard to see him and some of the players passing up the chance of securing contracts with financial rewards several times more than what they will make here. maybe winning the Scottish cup this year would help.

Really hoping that Jens and the board are talking and planning for JBA to stay at least another season as I’m sure he can make us an even better team next season and quite possibly good enough to participate in the league section of one of the European competitions. If we can also convince our top players to remain for an extra season (whilst ensuring we can still make money on them when they move on) next season could be unbelievable for Motherwell’s

Interesting Docherty to assist as Aberdeen prepare for summer appointment
-
The fans who have turned up this season may well purchase season tickets next season. With the increase in revenue from ticket sales this season, this may mean the club will not need to increase the price of season tickets again next year.

Appreciate there is bias in my view but it could really help Jens to stick around for a 2nd season. Like players a manager can have a great season but if he can have consecutive seasons this further proves it's not a purple patch and will attract attention from the big boys. Id love him to stay and can only dream of what a second season could achieve - a bit like sir Alex back in the 80s. Then move on to the Premiership or Europe to prove what he's got. Keeping the gaffer + most of current squad would continue the wonderful entertainment. Be wonderful to keep this dream alive and embed into our core what we're doing so the next mgr whoever/whenever could continue the journey.

And if we keep manager, attracting players hopefully works in our favour as they want to be part of it. Welsh's attitude says it all, he loves it here

Big home support for this one?
