Sounds like Bjørgolfsson might be out for the season.
-
Agreed, I think the big Norwegian and McGhee could be big players for us next season
- Today
-
If Jens stays then a good chance we might be able to retain most of squad but I would look to get as much as we can for Maswanhise
-
If we could keep Jens and Slattery for another season that would be terrific news. I’d love to see us keep this squad together and add a few players to strengthen it but that’s very unlikely as I’m sure several of our players will be getting some good offers but you never know. Maybe the chance to play another season under Jens amd in Europe might be enough to keep them here one more season.
-
I’ve just saw the Hibs ones are sold out too. I’m hoping by then Hibs are out of finishing in 4th and we might get a few hundred more.
-
On the subject of tickets, if anyone has a spare, I'd be keen to have one.
-
Not if a Championship club or Div one club down south offer his 10 grand a week. Which is very possible.
-
I think it is observed. I think the club sells the Bois tickets separately in the one group/area? I think anyway? I know ive bought tickets and asked to sit away from them and it was ok. (Not that I’m anti bois, just anti drum) But if you have a standard ticket, yeah sit where it’s allocated.
-
I’ve received ticket and it appears to have a specific area/seat number. For those who’ve been to stadium before knowing that’s observed or is it just first come first seated?
-
If the tabloids are to be believed, maybe Jens is taking him to Celtic when he goes! 😜😜😜
-
If JBA stays, maybe Slattery does too. And surely the club can now afford to offer him a new deal on improved terms to reflect his importance.
-
Saying in the Guardian that he is in discussion with Jens. So maybe not so clearcut that he is going.
-
This team needs a Slattery. We saw exactly how much it suffered during his recent suspension, and if he leaves, he’ll be a huge loss.
-
Had an outstanding challenge in injury time on Sunday after Ward's great save
-
I hope McGhee is given a chance. Very well thought of in Dundee and as a friend said to me "He'd run through a brick wall for us and never gives up". Despite our undoubted quality, thats maybe a skillset/attitude we've lacked a little this season. In his sporadic brief appearances for us, he hasn't let us down.

claretband started following Manager of the year award
- Yesterday

Re Slattery , he used to annoy the hell out of me before his injury I thought he spent too much time getting involved in needless fouls however since coming back from injury he has shown real creative ability and has deservedly had a lot of praise. I think Slattery's departure might see Jordan McGhee nailing down first team starts. I'm interested to see if he was as good as Dundee fans thought he was. Any time he has come on he has looked promising.
-
Ffs!! That's far too positive from you.....get that changed to a 4-0 humping.......NOW!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
-
Andy Halliday wasnt impressed. A valid point was we lost our star player in summer and we haven't missed him ( though I still think lennon woukd have ran riot) under a JBA side.
-
Draw written all over it. 1-1
-
The managers selected all have good reason to be there so I’m fine with that. they can pick JBA next year when we win the league!!
-
I think JBA and the players are going to get us 3 points from this one. COYW!!
-
It does seem a tad cliquey but it is what is plus they are saving giving him the manager of the year award for next season when JBA guides us to a league title. Up the Well!
-
All valid nominations, but I know who I want as MFC manager next season, and it’s none of the above
