  1. Past hour
  2. Maybe Casey and Devine were also unfit. But why were all 3 on the bench? It's the only rational explanation, in part, for SK's apparent pre match brainstorm.
  3. I don't see him going anywhere either.
  4. Well, given the generally negative remarks you make at length and so frequently, I suppose your definition of "supporting" and mine are not quite the same. I've had over sixty years of ups and downs with MFC and know how hard it is for us to survive in the stacked deck of Scottish football. And , no, I don't expect a medal but it does perhaps offer some perspective when considering our difficulties. Most of the current squad will be gone next season anyway (surely an improvement?) and if Kettlewell is so "crap", were you so voluble about his two predecessors, when we were in free fall post-Sligo and its SPL aftermath? Or did your negativity have a longer history? If I were so convinced things were going to be absolute shite in August and found so much at Fir Park unsatisfactory, I think I would find another interest/activity to spare me such angst. Good to know that you'll be around to support the club next year, though, once the manager and all the crap players have been removed.
  5. SK wont be going anywhere, he'll be in charge for next season , but look on the bright side you'll have a reason to moan right from the off, so happy days for you.
  6. I assume SOD must have been carrying a knock or been unwell.
  7. Well that was an anti climax to season. I don't get why SK changes to a 4 4 2, ye let's bring bevis back and have absolute mare for 2nd goal. Bair pen shocking and Nicholson looked like guy you bring Fir game of 7 a sides when you are a man short. But.......we are still in top league and let's Hope a great transfer window...if not....then yes I have the fear
  8. I assume person who voted for bevis is having a laugh
  9. Today
  10. Eye bleeding football, winless run aye OK then, we comfortably avoided relegation, scored lots of goals, put the Rangrs hoodoo to bed, and secured a 39th consecutive in the top flight, aye its been a poor season right enough 🤦‍♂️
  11. Because I won't stop supporting the club I've followed for 30+ years just because the current manager and the majority of the squad are crap. Most of them and the manager will be gone soon enough.
  12. That's not what I suggested. We probably didn't deserve it when we got it a couple of seasons ago either.
  13. One swallow does not make a summer.
  14. mathematically yes , ability and performance wise it was never happening, however its all about opinions if you think that squad would serve us well next season id just need to respectfully disagree.
  15. The point I was making was that a few weeks ago we still had a chance of top six.
  16. Sorry we fell well short. Given where we were months ago, 9th spot was fine. We deserved to finish 9th and not 10th or 8th.
  17. The only way we are going to to progress is investment of some kind until then we are just plodding along.
  18. that Motherwell team was never getting into the top 6 as it proved to be. When you defend like a pub team you dont get the rewards.
  19. We just missed out even with that squad
  20. top 6 will only be a hope if we get shot of 75% of that squad. That squad will always keep us down amongst the dead men.
  21. If you're so sure of that why would you return next season? Some form of masochism? I don't understand such an attitude.
  22. I've not noticed enough of the guy to comment but most said the same about Bair...
  23. Let’s be honest Poor result today tho positives we can take from this season like Beating Rangers and drawing to Celtic staying safe Let’s go and get in that top 6 next season 🧡💛
  24. 3 points from 12 against a pish St Johnstone side this season. I thought the match was gearing up to be an entertaining affair as it went back and forth quite quickly without either keeper being tested. It was a great cross in to be fair from Carey for the opener but it's so frustrating watching everyone ball watching other than the forward. I had that feeling Bair was going to come up short with the penalty, he loves to hit them low to the left and I'm sure that was well researched by his former club. The less said about the second goal the better. They certainly identified Mugabi as a weak link as they kept pinging long balls right to him. I thought the ref was frustrating again at times, a Bair effort was well blocked in the first half and you would think the goalkeeper and defender celebrating the tackle and with everyone heading into relevant positions was enough to convince him otherwise but no. He also seemed to take an age making his mind up at times denying Bair a great opportunity in the second half like 6 seconds after he won the ball. I couldn't help but feel the footballing gods were watching over them today, a routine cross early in the game ended up being cleared off our own defender and it took a great save by Kelly to claw it away from the top corner. I'll give them credit for the three blocks on the line from our effort but when Spittal's shot came off the inside of the post and rolled into the keepers arms you just knew it wasn't going to be our day. However Moses goal was nicely taken, just typical it came on the 94th minute. Ross County hit the post twice late on in the game at Dingwall. TBF I hate travelling up that neck of the woods so hopefully Raith Rovers can do the business but I feel they will come up short.
