Murphy gets my vote, he tried to link up with and support the duke -something which never happened in the 1st half. Also I was very suprised to see the duke come back out for the second half as I thought he was injured and should have been taken off and saved for Saturday.

I couldn't believe it when we started with a 4-5-1 formation, the Duke was left isolated with no support from midfield. We were very flat last night, Inverness chased everything, harrassed us at every turn and deserved the win. Hopefully we can take a leaf out of their book and play with a bit more passion on Saturday. Only good thing last night was Johnny foxes bar after the game - open 'til 3am!

Do we need another midfielder? I'd have thought we would be looking for a defender and a striker.

I still believe Steve Hammell will play LB this season, although I think there could be times when he might be part of a 5 man midfield playing on the left as he can deliver a good cross into the goal area. Don't get this he's past it/not good enough stuff being posted.

Think you are being a little harsh with you're comments nethertonwellfan, it could just be that no one up here (m'well included) were willing to pay the money he was looking for and so he had no option but to move south. Also since I'd rather see him down south than playing against us i wish him all the best.
