  1. Got to try and improve at right back, Grimmy is a great guy but he’s a squad player and not a starter for me. Launches it whatever way he’s facing, miles off when shutting down and marking etc.

  2. Ok Polworth isnt perfect, but jesus fuck some of you are hilarious. So he scores 3 goals & has 15 assists and is 90% pish? Therefore if he was only 50% pish he would be expected to be getting us 15 goals & 75 assists? Jesus fuck Poly is the "playmaker" playing generally beside 2 others who do the dog work. For a team like Motherwell, its that kind of player, or 3 cloggers in the middle of the park and we lose 10-12 of those assists! We cant fucking afford players who will be great 70-80% of the time, because those players are playing at a far higher level than Motherwell Fc!!!

  5. I don't think they've got any chance unfortunately. Fair play to Barnsley, bottom with 2 games to go and beat 2 teams in the playoff to stay up.

  6. Grimmy's performance last night wasn't exactly a surprise. He definitely needs competition.

  7. As has been pointed out above, fitness questions are a huge concern. Rangers and ourselves start the league on the same weekend and had the chance to start training at the same time on the same regime - limited groups etc. There should be as little a gap between the teams in terms of fitness and sharpness as there ever has been given the circumstances but that wasn't the case. I can understand Rangers having better quality given the difference in budget but friendly or not, we are slow and sluggish. We play in the same league against the same teams but there were miles between us last night and that should never be acceptable, least of all now.

  8. Irrespective of opposition, pretty sure we could have arranged more games than we have so far. If the club feels that it's a better approach to play two games this weekend and one next midweek then that's fine. But to simply say 'Rangers are further ahead in their preparations' makes it sound like we are behind schedule...

  9. Sadly it feels like Groundhog Day at times on here, I find it astounding that new players can be written off after 45 minutes. I just wish some would give players time to get up to speed and bed in. We played a team last night way ahead of us game time wise so yes we looked sluggish. I get that 4-0 looks poor but get a grip it’s a bloody friendly fitness session. If we lose 4-0 to Ross county in a game that matters then I will start to worry.

  10. This place is so predictible..... 1. You dont prepare for European football by playing lower league teams. 2. Rangers are ahead of us in terms of preparation. 3. They generally have better players than us anyway. 4. We are bedding in some new players which will take time. 5. Some of our existing flaws and weaknesses were once again exposed. The management team arent stupid. They see these things too. Lets all just chill out and accept last night for the lesson that it ultimately was. We still have much work to do to be ready for the start of the season.

  12. I struggle to watch Donnelly's interviews as my eyes are constantly drawn to the ginger beard and black hair contradiction.

  13. The first goal I wouldn't put down to Lamie, Allan Campbell made a mess of his header. He also won the ball in the 'penalty' you have decided to give against him.

  16. Good and honest assessment from the gaffer on Twitter. Rangers have played 4 x 90 Minutes and we have played 2 x45 minutes. We don’t have the Betfred games to bed us in where we tend to dominate and win comfortably but probably learn very little. We have opted to play Rangers twice and Celtic once in pre season. Will be a hard test but also a better barometer of where we need to get to by start of the season. Not going to p1ss my pants on one pre season game v Rangers. Unlike some on here. Like Groundhog Day sometimes.

  17. Third in the assists table, behind only Forrest and Christie, and with almost three times as many as our next player on the list shows you're talking out your arse.
