  1. Unique opportunity to play an all Lanarkshire outfield 10. O'Donnell, Gallacher, Maguire, Lammie Campbell, Turnbull, Semple Watt, White, Hastie

  2. "I think I played LB at Partick" (5+ yr ago) = Has played LB many times apparently Lamie has ACTUALLY played LB a number of times over the last few years with Livvy & Morton. He may have had a 'mare on wed nite, but Grimshaw was pish too, and has been utter dugshite in every game so far. So surely if you have 2 poor full backs, you play the fucking international player in his proper position to make at least 1 side stronger? So we are gonna play a Hibs team at Easter Road, who are absolutely flying, probably with a Right Back at Left Back, a Left Winger at Right Wing, a Striker at Left Wing and a Division 2 Striker as TM, PLUS Grimshaw & Mugabi.................. and Watt on the bench? Just an absolute joke

  3. This is the first match that actually merits “ man of the match” thread. And I’m giving it to Campbell. He’s probably not even waiting on the team bus, he’ll just run back home!

  4. If O'Donnell has to go off injured here then God is an Accies fan.

  6. I'd fancy us away to Barcelona but it's Hibs we're playing. It's a different level.

  7. It was certainly a different beast in the 70s and players like Big Tam prospered in it. Other like Gregor Stevens (first time around), Stuart McLaren, Willie McVie and the likes were in a similar mould - but Jaws was a class apart. (It also enhances the feats of guys like Graham and Pettigrew who played against it - and often on pitches that were like ploughed fields - but managed to excel at the game.)

  9. Completely agree with this . if we play 2 up front we can add another midfielder and push Ohara and the rest up a little . until Donnelly is back I’d be tempted to go with grimmie as the defensive midfielder and go with Lang and White upfront .

  10. Much much better performance. Our midfield 3 dominated Hibs, O'Donnell was a huge difference for us. Lamie had a very good game too. Bevis was absolutely fine defensively, we just need to ban him from passing cause he's fucking atrocious with the ball at his feet! Id he wins the ball, hoof it or play it back to Carson, and all Well players banned from passing to him and we will be ok. Up front is a big worry tho. Seedorf has pace, but no match sense or end product, Long is never a winger in a million years and Hylton was so bad he makes Seedorf look like Lionel Messi. Watt was poor bit was a tough cameo, and White is poor, but could be a useful sub to chuck on to throw himself about, never a starter tho. Set pieces are also fucking murder! Its weird but I actually feel MORE worried about us after this game than I have after each of the other 3 games! At least previously we were hopeless, so we knew we would improve, but today was the best we have played this season by absolute miles, and yet (apart from the offside goal) we looked like we could play for the next month solid and not score. Our attack, or lack thereof, is a serious worry

  11. Much better from us,the defence was solid,o'donnell is definitely an upgrade on grimshaw and fair play to lamie that was his best game for us.we dominated the middle of the park,no surprise when wee alan was as good as he was today and turnbull is well on the way to getting back to his best, there's work to be done on the forward line though.its disappointing we didn't get the 3 points but that performance is something to build on.

  12. Best performance of the season so far but I do still think part of Hibs game plan is to give you possession and then make fast counters. We need to be careful.

  14. Looks like O'Donnell has been tasked with covering the positions of all 4 missing players!

  15. We are absolutely no threat from corners, it's got to be better.

  16. I remember being so excited at school knowing I was going to see Tom in his first game for Scotland that night, very proud he was a 'Well player. Very hard but fair and without the nasty streak others had at that time.

  17. Grimshaw should be dropped just based on the Livingston game never mind a long run of being a not very good right back.

  18. Play Carson, O’Donnell, Gallagher, Campbell, Turnbull, Lang and Watt in their correct positions and fill in the gaps with everyone else. Wishful thinking. 4-0 Hibs.

  19. Tough game, I would take a point right now. I expect the back four to include O’Donnell to play on the left with Lamie in the centre with Gallagher. Up front Lang and Seedorf on the wings with Watt in the centre. A good few players need to up their game and I’m talking about midfield here, the strikers need better service at times and I’m personally more disappointed with the midfield players than any other area given the quality we have there.

  20. If Grimmy isn't a right back and O'Donnell isn't a left back wouldn't it make sense at the very least to put Grimshaw at left back and O'Donnell at right back so we only have one player out of position? I mean it'd make even more sense to put Lamie at left back and O'Donnell at right back but that'd be far too fuckin sensible.

  21. Grimshaw is shite,we then sign a right back who is very decent at this level and were planning on playing him at left back, the mind really does boggle.there's been some strange decisions made by robinson already and were only 3 games in.

  22. A message to Burrows; Sack Robbo and gie the job to this crazy bastard...what a laugh that formation /selection would be

  23. I found him very frustrating at international level but he might do a job for us, if he’s any good , he’ll be moving on anyway

  24. Excellent signing. We needed a right back and we've brought in probably the best one available.
