You wanted him out in 2017 Yodo, I’m not sure you’re judgement is that sound.4 points

Well this summer told us you can be relegated after any amount of games! I hope we improve but it's a bold claim to say we won't be 'anywhere near it' with our current numbers. The thing that really concerns me is goalscoring. Failing to score in 5 out of 6 is pretty bad but it goes beyond that. We've failed to score in 10 of our last 20 league matches and we've only scored more than 1 goal twice in that time. Teams that don't score always struggle.3 points

Dire absolutely dire tried to sit in we've all seen the script before .Ideal time to sack Robinson 2 weeks to find another manager ,Robinsons time is up at Fir Park3 points

I tend to look on it on a season by season basis, just the same way that a strong finish to a season means nothing the next season. This season has not been close to good enough, but it’s been small margins looking at it on a game by game basis, individual mistakes and opportunities missed. We are not performing like a team that’s out of it’s depth by any means in my view, but we do need to cut out the mistakes and put the ball in the back of the new more often. St Johnstone next game up is very important, we need a win and we don’t want moral to drop.2 points

If 2 wins in 16 league games is too soon to be having the discussion, you'll never be ready to talk about it. That includes two home defeats to Accies, a home defeat by St Mirren, losses away to St Johnstone and Ross County and a home defeat to a Dundee United side that just got skelped by Kilmarnock. These are statistics, not opinions such as 'his signings have been poor, he has made the wrong substitutions'. Without wishing to go all Rafa Benitez, these are facts. In his defence, facts also show we finished third last season. But had the season continued, that might not have been the case. While not disregarding his previous achievements at Fir Park, managers and players are judged on most recent performance. What's that old line 'you're only as good as your last game'? I'm not saying sack him, but I don't think anyone having the conversation is out on a limb...2 points

We didn't do too badly all things considered today although I think Robinson has changed the system too early in the match. We were looking fine and then within minutes of going to four at the back we go 2-0. Felt he should have just kept it as it was until the last 10 minutes or so. Overall though 6 matches, 2 goals, 1 clean sheet and 2 points isn't good enough. Need to see a big improvement in the second half of this quarter.2 points

Adrift of what, get a grip of yourself yes we are bottom but 2 wins and we could be up to fifth, its only 6 games in FFS, if we are still bottom with 6 to go then worry but not now.2 points

Our problem is that Celtic didnt beat us today because they are so much better than us, they won today because offensively we are unable to lay a glove on the opposition and defensively we are guaranteed to throw at least 1 in our own net EVERY FUCKING GAME. Because they ARE much better, they should have scored 5, probably more, but we were let off the hook in that respect. Our form is an absolute disgrace. A manager at any other club in world would have 1 foot out the door at this point, if not gone already. Instead, ours is bulletproof and probably looking at spending some of our recently gained money on yet more utter shite to add to our squad. We are bottom of the table, and arent going anywhere anytime soon. Its a fucking shambles2 points

I usually rely on you to be the voice of reason as well Andy! Feck it! Am off down the bookies to put £20 quid on us at 22/1 to beat Celtic!2 points

I just dont see that. There is a BIG difference between playing well and having some nice passes while the opponents happily sit in. Our best performance of the season was against Hibs, and even then, apart from the Whyte offside shot we never looked anywhere near scoring. Todays game was the same as the rest of the season, we are utterly toothless and ultimately end up chucking a goal or two in at our end. Teams know this and the likes of St Johnstone, Killie etc will happily sit in and wait till we give them their goal. You would think after 6 games we would at least look solid and hard to beat but we simply are not. We are 7 games into a new season, and the manager STILL has absolutely no idea what our best team or formation is! We have no left back, our midfield "balance" is all over the place and our "attack" is in disarray. How do we fix that?1 point

We need 9 points from the next 5 games to put us at worst on even keel. Anything less and we certainly are in a relegation dogfight.1 point

On the bright side I thought Mugabi played well again barring that one slip.1 point

Failing to score in 5/6 league games puts any manager in a vulnerable position. Today he started two strikers away to Celtic and our only shot on target was Grimshaw shovelling the ball straight to their goalie. It was painful watching Chris Long continually trying to run straight by their defenders and failing. Scoring against 10 part timers means nothing. Unless we start scoring league goals soon Robbo and Harry will be gone.1 point

Typical Motherwell away at the Old Firm, decent enough without ever realistically coming close to scoring.1 point

If we only had a blank cheque...always enjoyed computer modelling so put the imagination to good use during lockdown. 12,000 seats and inspired by some of those Scandanavian grounds with the two small tiers while keeping "the shed". Sad...maybe, but just shows that because we are in need of a smaller ground it doesn't need to be a washout lego effort.1 point

I don't think McGinley showed anything to suggest he was a definite first pick.1 point

Murphy has only just turned thirty one, and is fondly remembered from the start of his career at Fir Park. He would definitely have been a step up in quality from what we currently have, though I agree with the suggestions that he was probably beyond our budget.1 point

I always liked Jamie Murphy a good honest professional who did very well at Brighton but as the squard developed he slipped down the pecking order and Rangers offered what he wanted a return to Scotland and a regular starting spot sadly a bad injury restricted his Rangers appearances so a move makes sence, But what is he now 33 which for an injury prone winger is the twilight years having said all that I think he would have been a good addition to the Motherwell midfield calm on the ball and a good passer may have provided the midfield/striker link we have been missing in the Premiership so far this season. Oh well both he and we have moved on, good luck Jamie1 point

Considering our next 4 opponents, the fact we have won 2 league matches all year playing substantially inferior opposition, the fact we look incapable of scoring against professional opponents and the fact weve just sold by far our best player. I think it would be silly to not be a little concerned!1 point

Yep, you can argue if we are bottom we deserve to be there ( Statistical fact), but we should most definitely have gained more points. There are things that can be improved on but it’s still been small margins between gaining and not gaining points, it’s not as though we are getting thrashed and outplayed in games. It’s very easy given the start we’ve had to start to start panicking and call for an upheaval but for me that’s something that needs to be looked at another half a dozen games down the line. For now it should be stay calm, get past the Celtic game with something if we can and then look for that first win. I’m still confident that Robinson will turn it around if he’s given time.1 point
