O'donnell has neither attacked or defended well this season. I'd much rather have a right back who can defend and isn't as great going forward. Bevis keeps his place for me.

I've no idea what happened with ojala,hopefully as he was able to walk off it was just precautionary and he will be fit for for our next game.hes fast becoming one of our most important players,he was excellent again today,his reading of the game is first class.

I also like O’Donnell and I do think he is a good player. However, I’d say he is going through a run of bad form. That’s said as a comparison of how good he can be and not as a comparison to other players. Mugabi has played well enough to merit maintaining a starting spot in that position but remains to be seen what GA decides for the hearts game.

The chat about Mugabi not getting forward enough is fair doos, but he's a big bastard of a centre half being chucked in at right back, he's never going to turn into Cafu overnight. He was far more solid defensively than SOD today and he showed signs of marauding forward when given the opportunity. That'll surely grow with a bit more familiarity/confidence in the role. I like O'Donnell, I think he's an excellent RWB (as shown over the summer) but is actually just quite an average RB.

My main issue is that we appear to have players that should be a "less pisher" watch

Lamie was brilliant when he came on, threw himself at everything. I've moved on from thinking he's a bombscare, he's a solid center back. I thought McGinley was fine too, he got overrun when they switched to a back 4, but bringing on Carroll nullified that. Once mugabi realizes he can just run through people up the right wing he's going to be a fun right back to watch. Solholm was really shaky in the first half, and almost cost us a couple of times. He was better in the second half, and Ojala was solid until he had to go off The midfield was awful. One day I'll understand the tactics around it. The win column suggests it works, bit it is not fun at all to watch. Slattery willost likely be back for the next game. Those finishes from VV were excellent, and Goss played his part in both goals. If we can get decent deliveries into the box Watt and VV will score plenty. Kelly is the man.

I think last season proved Lambie is not a left back. But a decent CB

A thoroughly enjoyable second half. Goss and KVV making the difference. Ricki Lamie too, what a performance. He is extremely solid for us when called upon which is remarkable considering how genuinely horrific he was for the first few months of his Motherwell career. I can only hope one day to love somebody as much as Lewis Irons loves Liam Kelly.

That was a hard watch. It's so frustrating, anytime we get a hint of getting the ball into the Aberdeen box we have either launched it straight out of play or we have been offside. Even passing the ball ten yards to a team mate is a challenge.

Also Mugabi is far superior to SOD

He's class,his reading of the game is outstanding,we could be doing with a few more like him in the team.

So, persisting with the crap formation, taking the only footballer out of midfield and leaving a badly underperforming centre half at left back..... I'm not a sack the manager type normally, but this guy is a fucking idiot. (Will happily eat my words/hat if required).

Mcginley is dire,I'm not a big fan of carroll either but out of the two he is the better player.we can't keep persisting with these two much longer,a new left back is a must.

Im hoping the "lessons learned" means that we press and defend from the front. That way we might not have to defend our own box so much as we will have more of the ball winning it higher up the field.

we have very capable players moving forward who can cause damage. We do need to push the play further up the park and quite simply start passing rather than blootering it up the park and missing out the midfield.

I have no probs with wee Tommy being in hall of fame, led us to one of greatest days of my life
