  1. In terms of points gained there is no difference between those two scorelines but in terms of morale, confidence, frustration within the support and overall embarrassment for the club there's a huge difference.

  3. If there is a good way to lose a game thats about as close as it gets. Plenty of endeavour, good shape and discipline, defended well in the circumstances and created a good few chances, albeit mostly in the first half. Disappointing we couldnt take one of those and the manner in which we lost the goal was frustrating. We should have been more alert to what they were doing. All that said, we maintain our league position, morale will remain high and if we go into the next 4 games with the same belief and attitude we should be picking up a fair few more points.

  6. Best performance against OF team for a while. Played well and got to be frustrated not taking a point. Can’t fault any of the players today. Good team performance. I hope we can keep up this level focus and effort.

  9. Thought Maguire was one of our best players tbh. Hasn't given Rogic a moment to himself. Not sure who was on Rogic for the goal mind you.

  11. If it’s the other way around there’s no way Liam Kelly would’ve got away with taking a kick at one of them.

  12. It's not about being scared, and more about the sheer gulf in finances, which leads to a severe gulf in quality. The increase you mention over the past twenty years coincides with both old firm sides, but mainly Celtic in recent years increasing the chasm between themselves and the other clubs financially. I'm sure there was a report or two in the media that highlighted that the gap between Celtic and most other premier league clubs is larger than the gap between Celtic and PSG. That should give us a little perspective. Funnily enough, when Celtic themselves have to play against a side such as PSG where the financial and quality gap is reversed they've been beaten by scores of 4-0, 7-1, and 5-0 in recent games.

  13. He actually returned quicker than expected. I read an article that said it was perhaps too quick and after a couple of games on the bench he dropped back out of the squad for a couple of games. However, Wee Al being Wee Al, he was back as a starter for Luton in early November and pretty much played the full 90 mins in all 5 of their game since.

  14. And Tony might want to take a look at Cole's form since he moved. 10 appearances, 1 goal. It's not an easy decision for someone like Watt. Whether he leaves or re-signs for us, this is likely to be his last "big" move. He is enjoying his football at Fir Park, and that is down to the perfect combination of club, managers, players, fans and location. When these things fall into place everybody benefits. We can't pay top wages, however, so now he needs to decide if he wants more in his pocket at the risk of playing less games and having less fun, or if he wants to thrive at a club like ours. If he does move on, there's no argument he deserves it. All I took from that particular article, however, is "There has been no fall-out, with the talks completely amicable." If there is any truth in it at all, it just sounds like standard negotiation tactics to me.

  15. Are celtic the only team we haven’t scored against this season? for Wee yin, I’m referring to games in the SPFL not all the teams in the world.

  16. We weren't far away from getting a point in our last visit there and we have had a couple of draws which we should have won with Rangers this year so we aren't doing too badly compared to previous years.

  17. It's feck all to do with being scared of them, the simple fact is they are both far better teams than us, we are not unique in having poor records against them every other team in the league has the same issues. Yes they lose games but not very often and even then it's more them having a bad day and the opponents getting a bit of luck to get a win or a point. Games against the uglies are a free hit, anything you get is a bonus, it's the results against the other 9 teams that count,
