  1. Could do with wrapping any child abuse patter, it's pretty shite to victims and their family. But aye, missing Van Veen for Tannadice is a blow. As is no home games at 3pm on a Saturday.

  2. Agree with this 100%. Lamie has been our best defender for months. Without question. And that after the merit of playing him was questioned by some on here insisting he would not be committed enough having signed a pre contract elsewhere. Lamie has been nothing but professional and certainly proven those doubters wrong. Compare Lamie's approach to that of Gallagher who I cannot believe has been touted as a possible resigning. If he can get out of the Dundee move I would be delighted if Lamie stayed with us. And that is based on his form over a prolonged period and his commitment to his present club. We could do a lot worse. But he should be played as a centre back instead of being forced to sort out full back issues.

  4. Nobody is winning a league at Fir Park which is a good thing.

  5. KVV will be back from suspension for Ross County and Hearts which is decent as they are the most winnable fixtures. Alexander better get his thinking cap on for a forward line for Tannadice. Celtic park on trophy day? I think I will pass.

  6. Definitely best defender on form currently, it’s not a high bar. I don’t fancy him & McGinley being our left side as a long term option. I’m hearing you on the other two, suspect it’s how we’ve managed to attract Ojala’s pedigree

  7. Agree 100% with this. Ojala, while a good footballer, looks unfit and appears to be made of cookie dough. Solholm gets away with it because of his megaphone moment, and Mugabe is prone to his bombscare moments, although he is much improved. Lamie has been better than any of them this season.

  8. Just my view. I think he is our best centre half at the moment. Ojala seems injury prone and Sol has looked ropey at times, big bevis has his moments. Judging by responses I seem to be in minority but hey ho all about opinions which I respect....COYW

  9. He's made his decision. Are we going to wait and see if Dundee get relegated before making decisions on the squad?

  10. So let me get this right. Time wasting and feigning injury is ok. But trying to get on with the game isnt? I know the modern game has changed, but really? No way KVV should be getting a booking for that. You can day its getting needlessly involved, but he still hasnt done anything wrong.

  11. I always saw it as an act of confidence, "right you fuckers we're back in this", nothing to do with a quick restart.

  12. I strongly disagree, he's run in to grab the ball to get on with the game. Watch the highlights, he doesn't touch the keeper's head and the keeper goes down clutching his head and even gets the physios on. All he was trying to do was speed up the restart, absolutely no problem with that for me.

  13. KVV ran from the 18 yard line into the goals getting needlessly involved. We had just scored a goal, go and celebrate, or get back and get ready for the game kicking off. Any attacker who runs into the goal to retrieve the ball is deserving of a yellow card.

  14. Just read through the thread and by God we have some funny folk on here. If that yesterday wasnt entertainment at football what is? The celebrations from all at end was brilliant. Livi were miles better 1st half but start of 2nd ohara won a couple of balls shields couple of runs and some chances and I thought we are back in this then their 2nd killed us. Well done young team keeping their singing going after 2 down as I've no doubt this encouragement was a factor in what was a great exciting last 20 from us. As you can guess I really enjoyed yesterday . 5 big games ahead and a wee mini league of 3 with united and County where top 2 can get europe likely is certainly more exciting than boring nothing games in bottom 6.

  15. Absolutely. But wishing/hoping for better is a huge part of what keeps fans going to places like Fir Park.

  16. In normal circumstances, a goal with the last act of the game to take us into the top six would have been met with utter delight and delight alone however I, like many others, believe it may just have prolonged a problem. There is no escaping the fact that we are AWFUL to watch. In a season littered with poor performances, yesterday was approaching top 3 greatest hits material. Again, time and again, I come back to the board. Record earnings last year, no debt, budgeting for 10th and now finishing minimum 6th (an extra 300/400k) - extra post split gate money from at least one of the uglies. How do we plan to use it? For me, giving Alexander another summer to rebuild the squad shouldn’t be on the cards as it will simply alienate the support base even further given his style of football and THAT is what we cannot afford. We’re going to need virtually an entire new back line and midfield next season and a starting center forward - he isn’t the man I’d trust to do that in a way that will A) ensure we stay in the league B) Be open to change enough to refocus the style of play to something that doesn’t boil the blood

  18. I’m an advocate of playing football and winning games. I think we would have won more games had we tried to play football than we have done using the eye bleeding approach.
