Grown adults sitting on the internet mocking the grammar on a flyer from young guys trying to do their bit to improve the atmosphere feels a bit slimy.

Plenty of folk have enjoyed the atmosphere the lads generate and have recognised, praised and often contributed to their various displays and good causes. For what it's worth I do appreciate much of what they add to matches and I hope they continue to contribute. And I support their right to do so. But plenty of folk, me included, old folk and not so old folk, have also witnessed the types of incidents Robbos Boy mentions. From Kilmarnock to Paisley, from Dingwall to Kirkcaldy. Like you I have no foot in any camp. I don't know any of the Bois and I don't know any Club Officials or Police involved. I can only comment on what I have regularly witnessed and it appears to me that the so called "self policing" is not working. And sadly the incidents have been escalating. I don't usually agree with much that Robbos Boy comes up with, but on this occasion I think he makes a valid point. It may well only apply to a small minority within the group, but to suggest that The Bois do not go too far at times and to palm off any criticism as older fans with an axe to grind is nonsense. But if you truly believe that incidents in the places I mentioned or that Robbos Boy highlighted did not occur, were exaggerated or were just high jinx, then so be it. I know what I have seen and heard and I fear it is only a matter of time until someone is seriously hurt.. I do hope the Bois can resolve the issues they have with some employees of Motherwell FC and also which I believe exist within their membership. That should then result in less confrontations with Police, Stewards and fellow Motherwell fans. There definitely appears to be plenty of good people with commendable intentions within the group. Fir Park especially and grounds throughout Scotland would be the worse off for their absence.

Feels Scottish.... aye ok, he's on record stating how shit it is being part of the international squads and being away with Scotland, it does not matter if your dad, Grandad etc are Scots, the boy owes everything he has in football to England, youth teams semi pro, and pro contracts etc and if he had as much as a sniff of an England call up he would be nowhere near us, so I'm not having any of that " I feel Scottish " shite. How many genuine home grown players has Scotland lost over the years because they were not picked in place of Random English players whose Grannies once had shortbread at Gretna Green. Why are players like Alan Campbell, Turnbull, Nisbet to name a few getting over looked for guys like, Che Adams, Jacob Brown, lyndon Dykes, and the latest guy from Blackburn Dominic Hyam its feckin nonsense.

There's clearly an important issue here which deserves support, at least initially, and its not spelling or grammar. Anything which brings our fans together and with the club and also generates positive discussion is to be welcomed.

Perhaps viewing from a distance gives a different perspective, but is it justifiable to seem to condone the use of abuse and threats against anyone who simply might hold a differing opinion?

Perhaps he does not fancy the abuse or threats that go the way of those that dare to speak up at games.

Well said, but be careful what you wish for, my seat in the POD is allegedly padded, but comfort was obviously not in the design brief for those seats when made over 70 years ago.

Fair enough (although I'd hesitate to hand over money to a group that didn't run a spell checker on a document they paid to print). The initiative itself sounds like a plan to split the support and oppose the club (and the safety officer they hate) as a reaction to the "Heavy Hands" complaint, and that seems like a bad thing to me. I'm all for better atmosphere at games, but I don't think this is the way.

You weren't irked by "intiative" in the first line?

I appreciate that I might be in the minority (possibly even of one?) but the use of “an” instead of “a” before “wider project” irks me somewhat. I am all for enhancing the match day experience and creating a better atmosphere, but this together with the inherent inability to spell “boys” may just have pushed me over the edge.

Not a huge McBurnie fan, but thats not true. He definitely feels Scottish and is proud to play for Scotland. Just in a kinda Rangerzy way........

Not a surprising result or scoreline. With Obika out and Mandron obviously not fit enough to start, it was impossible to keep a settled 11 or formation / tactics to the previous 4 games. Despite that, I thought things worked well enough in the first half getting the early goal and its testament to the defence that Rangers never had a shot at goal until the free kick. So frustrating then, as Slattery didnt need to make the tackle in the first place and Kelly and the defensive wall combined to gift Tavernier his goal. It was clear we were struggling with an out ball though, and I felt Kettlewell should have changed something at half time to allow us better ball retention and to get up the park a bit more as it was obvious Rangers would make changes to give themselves a greater goal threat. Hard to criticise the first goal as it was a great early cross and Sakala does McGinn with some clever movement to create the space needed to get his header away. Good to see us come back though and get the equaliser, quickly followed by a great chance for KVV. The 3rd goal for me is the turning point and where we lose the game. It looks offside to me all day long, but I get the argument for perspective and narrowing of lines away from the camera, so given how close Max was to being offiside I guess we just have to take that one as both were very close in real time. The 4th goal again is great movement and skill to undo us and the game is probably over at that point, but the red card is a joke. Cantwell had been kicking Slattery and Goss all game without punishment, so hardly surprising he held a hand out to protect himself. The fact that Cantwell has gone down holding his face and has got a fellow pro sent off should be looked at. Just no need for it. Overall, not the worst performance with mitigating circumstances and shouldnt dent the confidence too much ahead of the games that really matter.

So when they as a group collectively decide to boycott the first fifteen minutes of a match at the ground of the club they support, or walk out as a group or disrupt matches by throwing stuff on to the park…is that them valuing their own status more or that of the club? As I said there are decent guys in that group and I believe their intentions are good towards the club, but the saying goes “you are judged by the company you keep”. To me that group have became a bit of a ‘Green brigade wannabe’ bunch over the last few years with their petty grievances and behaviour.

Perhaps spelling it ‘Bhois’ might be more appropriate…
