  1. Nah no need for bragging rights its a local Derby that's never existed for nearly 40 years, theve never been good enough to be in the same league as us, same applies to Albion rovers and I suspect that now Accies are lingering in league 1 it will be a good few years before we play them, barring a cup draw etc. So we are still the pride of Lanarkshire with no local competition.

  2. Now we have to go that bit extra and take the 3 points. Hopefully we get a decent home crowd at Fir Park and get behind the team. COYW

  7. I like how your statement about Levein was also a question. In fact, it's much like Transfermarkt's assessment of the tactic he deployed in Prague.

  9. And the chief victims will moan today about that Rangers penalty while ignoring the ones they get away with every week. It's insufferable. Even the most level-headed Celtic fans can't see that the constant victim complex is petty, embarrassing and completely unfounded. In reality, it's often the opposite of what they claim. In the end, a lot of the Rangers fans are just horrible cunts, but Celtic fans are the worst; an absolute seethe of sanctimonious pricks.

  10. Forward thinking and ambitious costs serious cash, John Boyle tried that approach to make us the " third force in Scotland " as he put it and we all know how that ended. Football clubs are not normal businesses the successful one all have one or more very wealthy Individuals or companies behind them. At our level its a different world our average crowd is probably well under 5k, combine that with limited sponsorship, crap TV deals, etc and we don't have a lot of cash to spare so what we offer gets us the level of players we Currently have playing for us, but on those criteria we have done well over the years, top flight Football, cup win, euro qualification etc so we are where we are. If people want regular trophies, European group stage football, etc then unless we can persuade some multi millionaire to invest in the club its not going to happen. Bottom line we are a small provincial club suffering fan wise from our proximity to the ugly sisters which limits our spending power, but for me I wouldn't change a thing we've done allright.
