  1. No one should be subjected to abuse and threats and I highlighted that at the time he left but his stories seemed to contradict each other as folk that sat in O'Donnell stand and were at away games didnt recall it being as bad as he was making out. Way he left club for me was terrible in way he more or less blamed whole support and to bring out that interview with The Sun on day Wimmer was appointed was lack of respect though that was probably the Sun's decision. Yes there are wallopers in every support. The guy at Falkirk home game a few weeks ago at back of Hunter stand beggared belief. Thankfully not seen him since, probably in a mood as we are playing great football 🤣🤣 COYW

  3. I am not saying a few folk might have said something but I am starting to see a pattern in Kettlewells behaviour it's exactly panning out how he left us and it seems to be playing it again. He is very deflection based injuries, rub of the ball, bad decisions going against the team nothing to do with his own bad tactics and such. I think it's Mr Kettlewell that needs to have a look at himself in the mirror due to his abusive behaviour its not the first time let's be honest.

  4. Yes, he was a tough and skilful low-centre-of-gravity goalscorer and I was very disappointed to see him leave for Celtic (like Joe McBride before him). Reputedly the last player to score a goal by shouldering the goalie over the goal-line. IIRC it was against Dundee at the Taggart's end.

  6. On Ox, Killie are in trouble because they neglected to have a competent backup keeper, and decided to go with an unproven kid instead. Then all it took was one injury to really mess them up. I think connelly is probably better than the guy Killie has, but it would still be a big risk letting Ox move without bringing in a decent backup.

  8. First he said he was taking abuse at Fir Park. When that was questioned he decided that it was his family that was getting abuse at Fir Park. When that was questioned he said it was on social media or his kids at school. I'm sure there were fans telling him he was useless during his long winless spell. I'd be surprised if anyone in the Main Stand was abusing his immediate family (although they may have heard fans yelling at him). Kids getting teased at school because their dad's a football manager sounds like par for the course regardless of what team you manage. If any of that was true, then I agree, there is no place for it - but it sounded more like excuses for his failure, and he didn't want "damage his brand". If he had been like Robinson or McCall, and told the truth that he was no longer able to get a performance from the players despite everything he had tried, I'm sure he would at least have had the respect of most fans. I'm also sure, if his family was taking abuse at Fir Park, the club would have worked with him to stamp it out. Of course, if you are a football manager or player who expects to go through every match without taking a bit of stick when you lose, then you are probably in the wrong profession.

  9. Financially, I'd say yes. Numbers wise probably one more if thats JBA's wish. However, there are a large number of complicating factors. I suspect there will some outgoings and maybe one return (Ewan Wilson, who hasn't set the heather on fire at Kirkcaldy). We might also receive bids for some players and Welsh's position isn't 100% guaranteed. So its a bit unclear at the moment. We also have the prospect of long term absentees like Nicholson, Robinson, Stuparevic, Sule and McGhee to consider. Some of those could be punted out on loan. Potential outgoings? Rumours of Aston Oxborough being unsettled; Kofi Balmer, Andy Halliday, Esapa Osong. Loans for Luca Ross and Dylan Wells (whatever happened to him?) I don't think we need or will do a massive amount of business next month; more of a tidying up/fine tuning exercise.

  10. Any win against Goodwin is a good win - so hope we can turn them over like we did at Fir Park.

  11. In my head when I came up with the 17 points thing, we were beating Falkirk and drawing this one, however, it's on grass, they're shite and we're 2008 Spain. Nothing can go wrong......
