  1. Beuzelin sent off for two quick yellows!
  2. Sutton goal disallowed -- controversial by the sound of it!
  3. Gannon's as good a shout as any for that unbeaten run, but I'd have thought there were probably even young players in our own team who'd put in more consistent performances than the Duke this past month.
  4. Aye, but they'd had to stand in a queue for quite a long time, the puir wee souls, so it was somebody else's fault entirely. (And I'm sure they were queuing in a perfectly orderly fashion when the police felt the need to spray them with CS gas.)

    Facebook

Great stuff this Facebook, first with the news of our new stadium by the looks of it...

    Loanees

And yet, most of the EPL games I've caught by chance recently (I'm not interested enough to make a special effort to watch them) have been pretty rubbish, and nothing near as good as the EPL hype would have you believe. Especially compared to the option of going along to watch a team you actually care about that's having one of its better spells in recent history. If money's that tight, dump the Sky subscription (yes, I know the EPL's not on Sky, but they're still a bunch of tossers!) and go along to more games instead, folks, you know it makes sense
  7. O'Brien apparently said himself after the game that he didn't think it was a penalty: https://twitter.com/PressSport/statuses/5319648578
  8. Hearts had Christian Nade stretchered off, which took a few minutes (resulting in a ridiculous stoat-up despite the fact Yass had put the ball out for them, which Hearts hadn't wanted to do themselves), and Yass took a smack in the face not long afer that that held things up again. Plus there were six substitutions.

  10. As did Mo Johnston, of course... or did Alan Brazil not know that either?!
  11. And you don't think Gus MacPherson would have been thinking "we got pumped for the last 15 minutes on Saturday, we'd better do something different tonight or they'll just do that again"? Jim Gannon would certainly have assumed he was thinking that, and changed his formation to suit what he thought St Midden were going to do this time. It's clear JG is a "change formation to suit each match" type of manager, we're just going to have to like that or lump it.

    Darren Smith

From the Wishaw Press guy on Twitter: "Gannon on Darren Smith: he is walking fine but it's still v early in his rehab. 10:52 AM Oct 23rd from web"
  13. EDIT: Deleted as I was talking mince thanks to a badly-written Sunday Herald article
  14. They did point that out in the live commentary, to be fair...
  15. Trouble is, that needs one team from the rest of the pack to be significantly better than the others. But there isn't one, so as happened today, everyone else keeps drawing when they need to be winning to catch up.
  16. Ah, it's a common device used in internet communications to signify shouting. I believe we were taught that at school.
  17. Looked grammatically correct to me...
  18. Sounds like we're going for it now... need to keep it tight at the back though!
  19. Sutton on for Yassa, of all people...
  20. 2-1 St Midden, couple of defensive calamities.
