    Craigan Injury

Have to say he didn't look injured to me from where I was sitting (well, standing), and didn't seem to be limping when he went off. So hopefully it was just precautionary.
  2. Article on Jeffers in the Herald today. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/spl/mo...-away-1.1084149
  3. Jones scores! 1-0, once they decided it had gone over the line.
  4. Stranraer "first to every ball" at the moment. Lasley off injured, Murphy on.
  5. Gunning and Hutchinson booked in quick succession...
  6. To be honest, I just Googled "Open All Mics"

  8. Nope, they've been off and running for a few minutes now.
  9. Lasley struggling with his ribs already, apparently..
  10. Think it's Open All Mics only, today.
  11. Hmm, so was McCall fibbing when he said all this earlier today...?

    Casagolda

Call me old-fashioned, but instead of worrying too much about bringing another striker into the club, perhaps our coaching staff could pull their fingers out and teach the ones we have to do a better job of scoring goals?
  14. Could indeed, although given that he seems to have left Newcastle Jets because they couldn't agree new terms, you'd have to wonder what sort of wages he'd be looking for.
  15. Yep, was mentioned during the BBC commentary on Sunday
  16. Killie open us up, ball's in the net but disallowed for offside...
  17. Hateley drops out for Jones, too. 1930: KILMARNOCK TEAM NEWS: Bell, Clancy, Sissoko, Wright, Hay, Kelly, Pascali, Eremenko, Aubameyang, Taouil, Rui Miguel. Subs: Jaakkola, Fowler, Silva, Berntsson, Agard, McKay, Gros. 1929: MOTHERWELL TEAM TO FACE KILMARNOCK: Randolph, Saunders, Hutchinson, Craigan, Hammell, Jennings, Lasley, Jones, Humphrey, Murphy, Casagolda. Subs: Hollis, Hateley, Sutton, Page, Gunning, Pollock, Smith.
  18. How does the fact that Juke, Ruddy and Coke are now gone make them any less of a good find? No, Gannon wasn't the first manager to get us a couple of good players. But he was the first for a long time who brought in so many players of a reasonable or high standard as soon as they were needed and in exactly the positions he had identified as being an issue.

  20. Indeed. Football could do with a lot more Jim Gannons kicking some primadonna arses.

    Semi Final

Some flattering words in today's Herald report.

    Semi Final

Disagree. It was almost the perfect header from that position (although back across the keeper would arguably have been better) -- hard, downwards and on target, and the ball had already made it most of the way through Alexander's legs before it came off his back foot and away. If Saunders did exactly the same another 10 times from that position I'd bet at least five of them would go in. Murphy should certainly have done better, although as the replay shows he ended up having to dig it out from between his feet slightly -- came right at him rather than sitting up nicely in front of him.
