But you might be had you agreed in advance with your employer that you would still be eligible for some or all of that bonus in the event of your resignation before the end of the year. We have no idea what Broon and Boyle might have agreed verbally, and as others have pointed out, a verbal agreement is (sometimes) still legally binding.

Because it's hard to defend our chairman acting like a clown, and it's always just possible that the club really does owe Broon some money, and knows it...?

Well, if any former employer had pissed me off, I'd probably try to screw them for every penny I could, whenever I could Brown obviously feels pissed off about something that happened to him at FP, and whatever it was is probably what resulted in his departure. So without knowing what that "something" is, I don't know that I can blame him for trying. For better or for worse, we'd probably never have heard anything about it if JB hadn't turned up on Saturday, either, so up to that point you can't even really accuse CB of pursuing his claim the wrong way. If he really did have any "dignity", he'd certainly have kept his gob shut about it afterwards, though. All that said, under the circumstances, I'd be as aggrieved as anyone else on here if he actually ends up getting anything.

Certainly improving, looks to be playing a bit bumpy now where some parts have more grass than others, though.

Not so much a "danger" as an "about time". Only folk hanging around there should be the managers plus anyone who might need to get on the park.

More than happy to keep him. He might only grab us 10 goals or so in a full season, but he still seems to have the touch and control that you'd expect of a once-multi-million pound player, and he's already proven that he can still score goals from time to time despite his dire recent record elsewhere. There's not many SPL teams who wouldn't be happy to have somebody like that in their squad.

Looks like they haven't put it out as a podcast either, they've only put out the regular 6-7pm Sportsound show from Tuesday night instead. Bummer. Only chance now is if it turns up as an Off the Ball podcast, I guess
