  1. Easily our best performance in the last three games. At least the opposition keeper had to work for his money for a change. The goal probably came to quick for us, could have done with taking the lead in the 92nd minute then we couldn't lose. As i expected with Fraser he's shite at crosses which ultimately cost us the game although he did make a couple of important saves. I wasn't optimistic about going into the split after the Falkirk game but a lot more confident now that we can take 4th spot after that performance. Mon the Well!
  2. Good first half for us. Jutkiewicz and Craigan have been excellent so far. Hopefully O'Brien will get Naylor sent off (or maybe not actually). We've got a real chance of getting something out this with a solid second half performance. Mon the Well!! Get stuck in to these manky bastards.
  3. Tough one to call tonight. I reckon we'll either get hammered or we'll win. If the Juke is fit i would bring him back in to the line up to replace Sutton. Move Saunders to right back with Hateley replacing Lasley in midfield. Hopefully O'Brien and Reynolds will see this as their chance to impress tonight in front of the Sky cameras if they are looking to get a move away from Fir Park in the summer. Big test for Fraser tonight where we'll see what he is really like under pressure.
  4. I sort of expected us to get beat yesterday after last weeks shambles and won't be surprised if we don't win again this season with 6 very tough matches left. A total lacklustre performance yesterday against a poor Falkirk side. Sutton was fucking hopeless yesterday and should learn how to jump. He should of been subbed for one of the young strikers. Just as well Hibs are shite the now giving us a chance of 4th place if we can pick up things in the next few weeks. Don't see it happening though.
  5. As i said in the early part of the season i was impressed with him but apart from Killie away he hasn't done much. The likes of Jennings and Lasley do the dirty work that Forbes should be doing, getting stuck into it. Apart from O'Brien, who is so inconsistent, none of our midfielders are much of a creative force going forward, Lasley especially. I think Coke has the potential to be good but he's a lazy c**t who never seems interested. Jennings is a cracking player, Gannons best signing, still to be convinced about Humphrey. Only time will tell........
  6. I thought when Forbes first came through at the start of the season he looked a great player who had the potential to be top class midfielder. But for the last 6 months he has been abysmal and premier league football is not his level. He would be lucky to get a game in the first division. He's unfit, slow as fuck, needs to harden up and his passing has been poor for someone with an excellent left peg.
  7. A lot has changed in the last 3 months. We'd conceded 3 goals in 12 matches and won 8 of them. So with United going down to 10 men, with 70 minutes to go, there was no reason to believe that we wouldn't win the match.
  8. Gutted to have lost yesterday i thought it was game over when they got the red card. We created hardly anything going forward with the extra man with Murphy missing a sitter of the header the only chance i can think of. Having seeing our disallowed goal on Alba again it doesn't look offside to me but United thoroughly deserved to win. What was Ruddy playing at the second goal Hit it first time way your right peg simples. Was a great day out yesterday apart from the 70 minutes of the game that i sat through. Hopefully we'll get back on track next week.
  9. Hopefully Kovacevic will recover from his injury and play on Saturday cause he is fucking dire from what i have seen of him this season especially against players with pace and skill, so O'Brien should have a field day against him. Gomis being out would be a bonus. I would go with the same starting line up from the other week against Hearts and i am fairly confident that we will win. 2-0 to the Well. Sutton and Murphy with the goals.
  10. The Scottish Cup ties are both live on Sky according to their schedule. Very much doubt he's meaning the Motherwell v Celtic game.
  11. Excellent performance and result yesterday. We got off to a flying start and could have easily been 4 up after 20 minutes. It was a great all round team performance with every man putting in a shift. I thought Brown should have made some subs earlier on as the likes of O'Brien and Jutkiewicz looked knackered. Pish support for what was our biggest game of the season so far which is disappointing but not much you can do about it. Hopefully results will go our way in the next couple of weeks and give us a chance of going to Tannadice to go clear into third place. Mon the Well!
  12. ---------------Ruddy-------------------- Saunders----Craigan----Reynolds----Hammell -------Jennings----Hateley-----Lasley------ Humphrey----------------------------O'Brien ---------------Jutkiewicz------------------- I thought Saunders did well at right back the other night so i would stick with him there and move Hateley into midfield. I would imagine we will go back to 4-4-2 on Saturday but would like to see them line up as above to give us a threat down both lines and a solid midfield 3. Will be gutted if we don't win on Saturday. 2-0 Motherwell. Jutkiewicz and Murphy to come off the bench and score.

    St Mirren

Jennings for me. A close one between him and Saunders.
  14. A good point gained considering how badly we played and the 3 or 4 clear cut chances that they should of scored from. If we win on Saturday that's 7 points out of 9 for the 3 games which i would of taken this time last week. Forbes is mince and should be playing in the lower leagues. The amount of times he left Hammell with 2 St Mirren players on him in the first half was unbelievable and his passing was poor. I thought Coke did ok going forward but half the time he doesn't look interested. In the second half we looked a bit a hungrier but never really got anywhere. Some of the simple passes that were going astray were abysmal, Craigan,Saunders and Hammell the 3 that stick out. Humphrey could do with trying to cut inside at times as all he seemed to do was try to take the ball down the line at every opportunity and get nowhere.
  15. If we are to take 4 points from the next 2 games this would be the game to take a point as 3 points against Hearts on Saturday will pretty much secure 5th place.
  16. I am really excited about the game tonight but at the same time i am dreading it. I absolutely hate playing them especially with the big bastards they've got up front. I would definitely go with the same 11 that finished Saturdays game so impressively. Murphy did well on Saturday but it's hard not to start with the Juke after his best performance in a Motherwell shirt for me albeit only being for the final 10 minutes. I am going for a 2-0 win to the Well!
  17. Humphrey for me. Looked lively and dangerous throughout.
  18. Cracking result today. Not the greatest performance but we won so that's all that matters. First ten minutes we looked good, Humphrey especially, then St Johnstone controlled the rest of the first half and looked like the team that were going to go on and win. Jutkiewicz made a real difference when he came on creating the winner for Sutton. Canny beat a late winner, fucking loved it. Fair play to the Carnival De Paris soloist for not giving in Another 3 points on Tuesday night would be ideal. C'mon ye Well!!!!!!
  19. I don't see us getting anything at Parkhead in the last game before the split but a repeat of 2 years ago would be unbelievable. I would settle for draws against United and St Johnstone. We have to beat Hearts and the other 2 games are more than winnable. So if we take 11 points out of the next 18 i would be delighted with that.
  20. I would maybe bring in Forbes for Coke. Not a fan of Forbes but Coke has been poor in the last month and Ross's form against Killie this season has been decent. It will be a tough game on Saturday as Killie will want revenge for our two wins this season over them but i reckon we can win this one 1-0. O'Brien to score.
  21. I wasn't confident about getting anything from this game a couple of weeks ago but their recent results and our shite pitch makes us favourites on the day in my opinion. The way they played in the first half at Ibrox last week showed that they want to play fast flowing football on the ground and i just can't see them adapting to the conditions at Fir Park as they showed the other night on a poor surface at Perth. Hopefully we'll start with two wingers with Sutton and Jutkiewicz upfront with plenty of deliveries into the box to trouble Smith. Fancy we could give them a bit of beating tomorrow, going for a 3-0 win to us.

    John Ruddy

Graeme Smith is nowhere near the standard of Ruddy. Smith was a wonderful shot stopper but other than that he was terrible at kicking and coming for crosses. Ruddy has the potential to go all the way in the game and i wouldn't be surprised to see him as Englands number 1 in the next 5 years.
  23. The most boring 90 minutes of football that i've seen this season. Dreadful match from start to finish with a pish atmosphere for a derby. Defence was shaky at times, going forward we were murder and when we did get our chances Sutton and Coke showed no composure in their finishing.

    Reynolds

He is not fucking murder. Overrated; i agree. I thought he has improved since last saeson but still lacks the strength and the commitment/aggression that he needs to add to his game. His pace is an excellent attribute and it saved us more than once against Falkirk 2 weeks ago. His presence in the team that led to nearly 10 hours without conceding an SPL goal has got to be applauded.
  25. Aye the council car park or the college car park are the best bits to park. Usually get out of these ones quicker rather than parking closer to the ground.
