  1. --------------Ruddy--------------- Saunders---Craigan----Reynolds-----Hammell ----------------Hateley------------------- Slane----Jennings-----Coke-----O'Brien --------------Jutkiewicz-------------------- I am really looking forward to this one after all the going ons this week and i think we'll win as most teams do after they sack their manager.
  2. Glad that he has been sacked by all accounts he was an arrogant c**t and certainly came across in the media that way. He won't be missed in Scotland. We've been pish for the last 3 months so things had to change. Looking forward to Tynecastle on Wednesday night now i reckon we will win. Mon the Well!!!!!!!!
  3. That was fucking awful yesterday. First half wasn't too bad yesterday although they had a few chances to score through shite defending. Second half performance was abysmal. If we were to lose Ruddy and Jutkiewicz in January then we will be in a relegation battle. Put a fiver on us the other day to get relegated at 40/1 now we're down to 25/1. Obviously i am wanting the bookies to keep my money but at the moment the way we have played in last 3 months has been very worrying.
  4. I was working til half 12 today so i couldn't get to Fir Park to buy them and they let me pay over the phone nae bother.
  5. Ticket office closes at 12.30pm today. Bought mine over the phone earlier this morning.
  6. We've been doing it a lot more this season than what we did last season. We've just no created enough chances as I can't think of a keeper other than Cerny who we have played this season who has had more than 1 or 2 very good saves to make against us. Coke's one of the worst culprits for not shooting when he gets in a good position.
  7. Gk - Ruddy Rb - Corrigan Lb - Paterson Cb - Partridge Cb - Craigan LW - McCormack RW - Foran CM - Pearson CM - Leitch ST - McFadden ST - McDonald A very attacking midfield i've chosen. We've had a lot of good attacking players in the last decade with McFadden,Porter,McCormack,McDonald and Clarkson the ones which stick out. Pity about the defence though looking at the motherwellnet website at the squads over the last ten years we have never had a solid defence in my opinion.
  8. Yet another game this season where the opposition keeper had fuck all to do. The only time this season that any keeper has had to play well in was the Hamilton game after they were down to ten men with two thirds of the match to go. The defence was shocking on Saturday, Reynolds again at fault for the first goal allowing Davis in to pick out Miller. Second half was a shambles with massive gaps being left for them to exploit. No balance in the team that was put out with 5 defenders, 2 midfielders and 3 strikers. Similar to the St. Mirren cup game where we were equally as bad if not worse.
  9. Dreadful response from Leeann. I would have been raging if it was me that wasted my time going for fuck all. I would imagine that most tickets for the game are sold on the week of the game so making the excuse that they have been on sale since the end of November is petty. Club clearly at fault so don't criticise the most important people (the fans) to the club.
  10. I don't think Gannon's found Murphys most effective position yet to be honest but tomorrow is an ideal oppurtunity to put him up against somebody that is much slower (Broadfoot) than him and gain an advantage from it. As for Saunders he's been excellent so far at centre back and with Hutchinson a more than capable replacement for him there it would be worth shifting him out to right back as he can defend and Yassin can't. As for the games that Saunders has played Right Back he has always showed that he can get forward and get to the bye line to get crosses in (they can't be any worse than Yassins attempts either).
  11. I'am in hospitality as well tomorrow got the chance of it this morning so it saves me running down for a ticket and to pay £25. There's a real chance of us getting a doing tomorrow if Rangers come out the traps the way they played against United the other night and if we sit as deep as we did against Celtic in the 2nd half last week. I would play Murphy left wing tomorrow so he'll be up against Broadfoot, who he ripped apart with his pace when he came on two years ago when Coach scored on Boxing Day. Bring in Hutchinson for Yassin and move Saunders to right back, Coke in for Meechan and i wouldn't be surprised to see Pollock start in place of McHugh who's meant to be carrying a knock. Hopefully Rangers will be shite and we might be able to sneak a victory.
  12. Decent prices. Will it not be pay at the gate?
  13. N'Guemo blocked his attempted clearance i thought the same as you until i watched it on the tele. As for Yass his defending wasn't too bad today for his standards. Passing/Crossing was dreadful he must of gave the ball away about 7 times in a row in the early part of the first half. Liked the time when he beat 3 or 4 Celtic players in the first half but he never really got anywhere.
  14. As has been said we played well for 20-25 minutes of the first half today and that was us. We gave Celtic far too much respect today, failing to close down and challenge for the 90 minutes. The number of times McGeady was on the ball and nobody would give him a good kick was unbelievable, if they hit him early on i doubt he would of been as effective as he was. The first two goals by them were easily preventable, firstly Samaras' when Hateley, Reynolds and Hammell all should of at least put a challenge in and their second goal where we had numerous chances to clear it before they scored. All 3 goals were well taken by them and they thoroughly deserved their win with the one goal margin flattering us. Thank fuck for John Ruddy! Good to see Pollock and Meechan getting their debuts today but when you are playing that quality of opposition it may be worth sticking with Coke and Sutton.

    Celtic

Jennings for me. Easily our best outfield player and based on his performance today and when he came on against Accies he should be playing a lot more than he has.
  16. --------------------Ruddy------------------------ Moutaoukil-----Saunders-----Reynolds-----Hammell ----------------------Hateley------------------ ---------Coke-------Jennings------Lasley--------- ----------------------Murphy-------------------- --------------------Jutkiewicz------------------- I doubt that Forbes will start after being subbed in the last 4 games so i would bring in Lasley and Jennings for the him and Sutton. Debateable whether O'Brien will get a chance of starting again if he is going to Aberdeen soon and the fact he has done hee-haw in the last 3 games. Hopefully Moutaoukils defending will be up to scratch on Saturday or he'll be ripped apart by that wee wanker McGeady. Done well against the Old Firm this season so far and it's a a game that should see Coke uping his game a lot. I reckon we could nick this one on Saturday by a goal.
  17. Why the fuck would Everton want Forbes in the first place? Forbes has got an amazing left foot but apart from that he is shite. Anyway to answer your question i would take Ruddy every day of the week.
  18. No sure how it will go tomorrow i reckon if the same Hibs team turn up that beat us back in September they will win comfortably, however if they are on an off day we could nick a win. Probably would go with the same team from last week maybe swapping Lasley for Forbes.
  19. I went for Jutkiewicz, thought it was his best game in a 'Well shirt since he arrived in Scotland. Just edged over Saunders who was impressive again today.
  20. I wouldn't mind a crack at Rangers at Fir Park the way they are playing at the moment. A Lanarkshire derby wouldn't go a miss, as long as we avoid St Mirren we should be fine.
  21. I was going in to todays match expecting a defeat so i can't complain too much about a point. I thought we were going to stroll through the match when they got the first sending off and we were until Lasley gave the ball needlessly away in the middle of the park leading them to have a decent chance then they score not much longer after that. I thought Yassin was poor again today positionally all over the joint and his crossing was woeful. At fault for both goals letting Dixon get the cross in for the first goal and fuck knows where he was at the second. Maybe a bit harsh blaming him for their first as Forbes should have cleared it a lot better. Good to see the Juke on the scoresheet again and Sutton bagging a goal for a change. Again i don't know if the changes were required when we were in a winning position with O'Brien been poor, giving the ball away everytime he had possesion, thought Lasley played well apart from nearly letting them into score. Ruddy, Saunders and the Juke were our 3 top performers today. Hopefully we'll get back on track next week against Hibs.
  22. Ruddy, Murphy and Coke would probably get in their team going from your analysis DC'd. Saunders and Reynolds have been good this season but you would tend to go with the experience in the defensive department.
  23. I know i was there that day and expected a win. As Levein said that day they were missing Gomis and Robertson (no sure if he's back yet) and he would have been worried if they had lost with them two playing. It's been ever since the Inverness game i've lost my confidence in the team and we have been relatively poor since then compared to the first half dozen games of the season. On paper they have a far better squad and i'm sure them and Hibs will be up fighting for third spot, if not better, come the end of the season. 1 defeat in 12 for us is an incredible start to the season but we're falling short of converting 1 point into 3 which we should of done on at least 3 occassions this season.
  24. I expect them to beat us quite comfortably on Saturday by 2 or 3 goals. They are a far better team than what we are and don't have many weaknesses. As for the line up i would drop Sutton and bring in O'Brien, hopefully he can win us a penalty again.

    Aberdeen

Should be an exciting afternoon on Saturday and hopefully we can get one over McGhee with a comfortable win. Assuming that everyone is fit i would go with............ ------------------------Ruddy---------------------- Moutaoukil------Saunders-----Hutchison------Reynolds O'Brien-----------Coke---------Jennings-------Humphrey --------------Murphy-----------Jutkiewicz------------ Murphys confidence should be sky high having netted 3 times in his last 2 games and i thought Jennings did enough against Hamilton to merit a place in the starting line up this weekend. I predict a 2-0 win for the Well.
