I agree. When mfc TV first launched they had Q&A's with players from fans twitter questions which was good. Also the ten yard bucket challenge I'm sure they done as well. I suppose things like that might not have seemed appropriate last season with the poor performances every week

Ainsworth, Mcdonald and erwin to resign would be great. Erwin has improved dramatically playing with Mcdonald and I think if given another year of being taken under mcdonalds wing he could become international class...don't think any will sign though but still quite excited to see if we can recruit players of Marvins quality over the summer

I have ignored all of the media, papers, news, phone ins etc since sevco beat hibs cause i knew that they would be spouting all the shite that the seem to have been. The Erwin 'story' is ridiculous and would have seemed a bit more believable if he hadnt been bang average in 90% of the games hes played. Got to agree that it just sums up Motherwell's mentality of bowing to bigger clubs. If we are given decent allocations by Rangers or Hibs then yeah give them the south stand, but if we get 900 tickets at ibrox then id stick them in a wing of the main stand and make the full stadium a fiver a ticket. This playoff game isnt a money spinner, its not for profit and getting 6000 rangers fans in at 25 quid each. Its solely about winning the tie and keeping our club where we've been for the last 30 years I just fear it coming down to it being all square with 30 minutes to go at fir park and rangers go on and win it with 4500 fans behind the goal roaring them over the line and we had been given a pishy wee corner at ibrox

Genuinely gobsmacked that people are calling for Sutton to play on Friday haha. Actually thought everyone was at the wind up! I'd accept that if he was on 1st half against killie he may have grabbed a goal off one of Johnsons crosses and that hes been handed a tough task all season upfront himself...however he just doesnt fit in to our side at the moment and hasnt done so all season. If we play him instead of Erwin we will certainly be relegated, hes got no link up play ability and in my opinion offers literally nothing to the team except a potential goal if layed on a plate for him. For Friday though id go 4-5-1 with johnson and ainsworth on the wings and skippy up top

Right bit of a curve ball here but if he is able to I would stick Grant at LB (good engine and comfortable on the ball) hes also the only midfielder thats kinda out of position just now. The rest of the team to stay the same though with either Ainsworth or dom Thomas put in at right midfield

How did Ferguson do when he came on?

United have had a crop of really promising youngsters playing very entertaining football over the last few seasons and on there day can beat anyone so I can see why they are getting bigger crowds. We have had a pretty entertaining team that has consistency wise out performed the rest of the league for 3 seasons on the trot. But the entertainment of a matchday just doesn't match up to the price you have to pay to watch it and thats why there was less than 4000 mwell fans at the first game of the season If the issue isnt addressed I only see them dwindling more and more until the clubs stability is compromised. Was there much outside season ticket holders at the game saturday...I doubt it

This is going to be incredibly difficult but if we can defend well and set out the right tactics dont see why we cant compete. Going for 1-1 (ainsworth) Would play; Twardzik Reid Kerr McManus Angol carswell (DM) lasley vigurs(CM) ainsworth Law (Wingers) Erwin or Sutton (I think Erwins Mobility would be best suited but doubt sutton will be dropped)

Better keeper than Gunnar and easily good enough for a back up at this level. Probably didn't quite cut it as first choice though

I agree that in the long term league success is better than good cup runs and getting an extra game in Europe. But to say we need to change our whole approach in order to win in the cups is nonsense. (especially against part time Icelandic pish) The players should get out on the pitch and do what there paid for. Sub-standard performances, lack of motivation, and shite substitutions are at fault for 2 embarrassing results against stjarnan and albion. Nothing to do with overall playing style and approach I dont think

wouldnt complain if Clarky returned but I think a short term deal and taking a gamble on another "Ojamaa style" striker as well would be needed as Moore is gubbed and Erwin completely unproven. We still need a centre back immediately and a left winger I think. Would be surprised if we had funds for 4 players though might need to be a couple of loan deals
