  1. Luvly jubly. Also, I'd be surprised if contracts didn't have reductions in salary due to relegation clauses. We've got some clever people running the show you know these days.
  2. Vacancy: Head of Marketing & Commercial Tuesday, March 31, 2015 As a part of the approved business plan for Motherwell FC, it was quickly identified the Club has a real need for input when it comes to how it markets itself. Most, if not all, of the focus has been purely sales driven, giving a lop-sided approach to how the Club is perceived and our ability to maximise revenues. The refocused objective is to develop a revised brand for Motherwell Football Club based on its history and successes on the field and endurance of the local people through recent economic decline. The key aspect of the new brand will be to change perception of the Club, which is now more philanthropic, engaging and community based. With this in mind, both the ‘Well Society and the Motherwell Football Club Community Trust will be fully engaged in helping support the new brand of the Club. He or she would also demonstrate a willingness to really buy into the Motherwell vision of putting the football club at the front and centre of everything the local community aspires to be. That can be achieved by significant focus on some of the great, untold, stories of not only the football club, but the MFC Community Trust. 3. If it helps Luc, it was in the week between Christmas and New Year if that helps you search on here
  4. Erm .... Fair play to Sid for asking them to do it and waving his fee for their events, otherwise I doubt we'd have the cash out of goodwill.
  5. Absolute cracker. I loved that Pony strip and the away one too.
  6. You considered creating an admin account called "Twitter" that is always left logged in to convey the shoutbox twitter feed without compromising your own account?
  7. There is a way round it: Current Steel (£300) member commits to £25 per month to upgrade to Claret & pays lump sum of £150 to cover the initial benefits package. Balance sitting at £475. As they would get access to the benefits in year one as part of their £1,000 that's why the £150 is paid up front. Over the next 11 months, £275 is collected in the monthly £25 DD. Balance sitting at £750 Then another annual £150 lump sum for the sub in year 2. Another 10 months of £25 and £1,000 paid in full. They get access to the addons today, the club gets it's £150 to cover them, WS get another £700.
  8. Not a big deal, just thought I'd let you know
  9. I used Chrome and the Sampdoria strip one stops in the middle of the claret.
  10. You gonna share that EVERY time between now and the end of the season?
  11. Also just looking at the table there, Dundee have 2 games in hand over Accies and 2 points behind, can't see them not overhauling them to place Accies in the bottom 6. We all know what a record on the plastic we have. I would really like it if Ross County and Partick occasionally lost, a tad annoying and not at all polite.
  12. I'd like to change my vote, it does serve a purpose. I don't regularly visit the other Topics in the forum other than Club Chat and knowing you can always get an answer to most random stuff is a bonus.
  13. Can't fault his contribution, it was pivotal but work ethic, attitude and decision making made me sure that I'd never vote for him, take a bow Lionel, credit where it's due. Just think what you could achieve if you had the focus and as much drive every week. Harness the feeling you had walking off the pitch to a standing ovation, 2 goals and an assist under your belt and compare it to the petulant disappointment and malaise displayed earlier this season and use that going forward.
  14. http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/scotfoot 9:24 for the interview
  15. Did anyone hear the gaffer speaking on Sportsound after that match, was praising Ainsworth but it was laced with the odd gentle put down and reiterated what a lot have said on here about him, maybe a little more diplomatically. Did raise a smile though.
  16. I'm at home now and been thinking of what I'd put down for a bit and I'm not any clearer, just an odd game. Out of the 4 best chances of the first half, they had 3 of them. However it felt like we were the better team apart from two 5 minute spells. Frustrated at how many set pieces were wasted with not beating the wall/first man/stray pass/corner going out for a goal kick. Baraclough didn't do his usual and switch wingers for 5-10 minutes, primarily I think because Lionel and Straker were not perceived a good combo for obvious reasons. Johnson does offer a little more cover. However, was it needed? Few occasions I thought we had the next Maldini playing left back, half the time though he did raise the blood pressure as he will inevitably do. One move in particular will stick with me for a while, where he skipped past 3 players only put it into the middle of the Accies naughty team. Being 30 yards away from Imrie during a break and seemingly not running towards him, tempered the silkiness. Second half, Ainsworth does what few others in our team do, shoot from outside the box and it paid off, credit to Keith for the quick free kick. Undoubtedly he has talent however my eyes do roll at times, he had an opportunity to put 3 balls into the box in quick succession and every one was poor. Saying that, 2 goals and an assist every match, I'll be happy for the rest of the team will carry him. His goal resulted in the despair falling on them and lift us. Bet he was raging at being hooked minutes before a hat-trick penalty opportunity. Johnson's influence died out in the second half (not for the first time), don't know if that's down to engine or tactics. He was excellent in the first half, his pace is a tonic after the first half of the season. Sutton shows why he is potent in this league. Hasselbaink caused issues and Laing was lucky to get away with a couple, the others he was skinned. However Pearo allowed the forwards to play and he was the linchpin tonight.
  17. Just got the weekly preview email .... Biggest home win ..... 2-1, not that bothered if stats are of that ilk
  18. Did you compile that post yourself or able to copy and paste it from a website? If so, which one?
  19. But playing during a summer and the rapid regeneration it offers means the pitch reaches the end of the season in November and is better nick to see out the next few months. Even more so if there aren't any games and undersoil heating over the worst of our weather.
  20. Relevant to us at present if Les decides to sell to another party. Anyone cast any light on why the SFA and SPFL are against it? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-31939962
  21. Interesting to know if Mikey was pushed or has walked. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2015/03/18/vacancy-head-groundsman/
  22. Well this was a big change, however much more user friendly.
