We’ve not been perfect with the new manager in charge, far from it, but there’s plenty to be encouraged about. Far better than the end of robinsons reign for sure.. We seem to have a structure both offensively and defensively. However we need to continue the improvements. Make no mistake we’re still in the shit

The front three excellent as was Maguire in the first half. Cole man of the match overall for me.

Nolan seems a decent signing providing he’s over his injury problems

As many have said previously recruiting in January is often difficult. With COVID, and the subsequent financial challenges thrown in the mix it gets significantly more difficult. That being said, I will be honest and say that I was hoping for something better than Robbie Crawford. The only consolation is that this signing is only to the end of the season

I would get shot of him , put grimshaw at full back and spend the wages on a half decent midfielder as that’s where our biggest problems lie

It was truly awful defending for sure. But he’s far from the worst of our issues

If the new manager came in and been told we have a highly rated Scotland u21 international and a Livingston reject in midfield, I dare say he’d be shocked to see there’s no gulf in ability between the two based on what he’s seen so far

Getting a semi competent central midfielder in must be surely seen as a priority now, along with another wide midfielder / winger

Hopefully - the new manager clocked whites lack of ability early doors, fingers crossed the same fate awaits seedorf

One of the few positives I can take are the new signings look an upgrade on some of the shite the new management team inherited

Interesting list it must be said and some of it makes for painful reading. However one thing - at least half of that list has played the same positions James Scott did. Not sure why you’ve highlighted him as different to the rest?

That’s what I think we need too for what it’s worth. Being greedy, the midfielder should be able to create and run beyond the forwards to provide additional goal threat. Getting that within the parameters of our budget may prove to a challenge however
