  1. A step in the right direction. We looked far better balanced all over the park tonight and with a bit more luck and quality up front should have taken all three points. whats of greatest concern however is that despite all the signings at the top end of the park, seedorf is still one of our better options. I also can’t see any of our forwards scoring any more than 5 all season.
  2. You would find peanuts in your best shite
  3. He’s had no offers from the championship that’s why he’s signing with us
  4. Gallagher should also be called out for his constant hoof ball to no one
  5. Lamie is more of a bombscare than mugabi and that’s quite an achievement
  6. Yeah we’ve been better 2nd half but still too soft
  7. Poor from Carson and Campbell (and a few others) for the goal
  8. A tad fortunate to be leading at half time but tweak a few things come out better and get the 3 pointsIn the bag
  9. Well we got what we wanted Campbell on the park and turnbull central and somehow got much worse
  10. Couldn’t believe he kept chipping the free kicks and corners in. They were dreadful
  11. McGinley closely followed by seedorf
  12. going in to the season with grimshaw as your only right back (never mind first choice) is poor judgement
  13. The two getting the most grief were actually our two best players - mcginley and seedorf
  14. There’s suggestions our reserves may well be queen of the south’s first team next season (a slight exaggeration given restrictions on player movement) but a few could be headed there for sure
  15. He’s already failed with Luton in England so don’t think there will be a queue of championship teams willing to sign him
  16. I can’t be arsed strolling back but there absolutely was more than a few questioning our recruitment and youth policy at that time
  17. Remember the outrage on here when we allowed Dom Thomas to leave and signed Cedric Kipre (even though they played different positions and are a million stratosphere’s away in terms of footballing ability)
  18. The coronavirus will have ramifications for every team on the planet and we are no different. There will be little reserve football in Scotland this year if at all. So difficult decisions had to be made as clubs our size can’t afford to test every professional on the books. Therefore the guys in the youths who would have benefited from a year playing in the reserves will unfortunately be the sacrificial lambs. The ones who are somewhere between reserves and first team will be on standby to step in to assist when our first team are injured. So some might see little competitive football this season. That’s the harsh reality of the position we find ourselves in
  19. He would be a decent appointment for most Scottish clubs
  20. More likely financial woes at at Johnstone
  21. Some gesture that - can I get my £10k donation back now that it’s not needed?
