  1. I suppose it's about opinions then. Although your opinions seem to be swayed by your perma hard on for all things Keith Lasley. He was good yesterday as was all the team but I wouldn't have had him in the top 5 performers. Bet hey ho it's all about opinions.
  2. McManus does deserve credit, not only did he have a good game himself but was constantly talking to hall throughout the game. He's still a good leader and organiser although he his brain and legs have varying levels of capability as their goal yesterday indicated. Hammell was also culpable for their goal however
  3. It's hard to disagree that our best players right now are all barracloughs signings. That said if you throw shite at the moon the law of averages suggests it will be successful some time
  4. Good performance today, would have been excellent but for a ropy 15 minute spell in 2nd half but positive signs we are better than our league placing
  5. The winners get a years supply of tennents - the ones with the models on the cans. They were the days
  6. I know we are no angels either. McManus worth a mention too and if you had to ask other supporters opinions then Lasley wouldn't be far off a place in an spfl hammer throwers XI
  7. Lasley (and Pearson) blew hot and cold yesterday and in the last 20mins both were non existent. Grimshaw was effectively a 1 man centre midfield by that point. Lasley will be cut some slack because he was just returning from injury and Pearson also for laying the boot into that cunt juankerr. Hammell was a yard away from conceding the most unnecessary penalty ever seen at fir park too and like the poster had said did the same in the final minute for a corner. So I don't think he was unreasonable with his assessment of yesterday. However it has to be said hammell was a big improvement on chalmers against caley
  8. It didn't look like a bad tackle to me. Mcdonald won a good old fashioned 50/50.
  9. Johnson grimshaw and moult the pick of the players for me. Went for Johnson. The only players who didn't cover themselves in glory were ripley and Kennedy
  10. That's the best we've been at fir park all season bar perhaps a half hour spell against Dundee Utd. Kennedy and ripley poor the rest were more than a match for hearts
  11. 100% agree. The board, McCall and barraclough should hang their heads in shame.
  12. Don't agree although law has been decent of late, Hately was better and given an unfair time of it at Motherwell more probably to do with who is father was. He was a very capable full back. The fact he is playing at a higher level now tells you all you need to know. I hope I'm wrong but despite the recent improvements I think law is English conference standard and no more as is Ramsden
  13. That wage thief you referred to had something like 12 assists the season we finished second. It was said often enough that he didn't fit into our rigid 442 formation and certainly wasn't a left winger but that was McCall fault for signing him and playing him there. Inverness play a system that suits him he's better playing centrally.
  14. What a character he is - we had the pleasure, albeit very briefly, of a chat after the game and he's a hoot. I thought he was a terrible appointment for caley when he got the gig but he's done a great job there and they played some decent stuff the first half hour today
  15. Thought moult law grimshaw and ripley were the only ones with pass marks today
  16. It would take a very poor performance to rival Scott McDonalds level of shitness today he was horrendous. Take a bow joe charmers, you far exceeded it! Agree regarding Vigurs though that won't be popular on here
  17. It would appear you have carried out a fair bit of ground work in researching and preparing your presentation. Well done in that regard and certainly satisfies the out of the box thinking strategy that may be required to make the society a success. Whilst I don't believe some of your suggestions are as easy implemented as proposed, as a member of the well society I'm disappointed that you were 'ushered' out the door with not any form of feedback or reasoned debate on the merits, or otherwise, of your suggestions.
  18. Either an edit job or I've read it wrong. Most likely the latter
  19. Piece on club website advising that well society has paid £200k of £1M loan owed to Les. At the very least it's good to see communication. Not convinced of the long term viability, similar to others, but will continue to make my monthly contributions
