Everyone of the players should be applauded for the effort they put in. I thought we were short in quality in the middle of the park but the 3 midfielders worked tirelessly and knew when to foul and when not to. Moult and Ripley excellent and big McManus and Kennedy came to the fore when Aberdeen started their hoofball with about 10mkns to go

I don't see the issue, we seen the game out comfortably and maybe he felt the two you mentioned needed the full 90ninutes to maintain game sharpness levels. Plus the two potential replacements you refer to are not known for their defensive capabilities.

Cadden has played as a wing back in all but the last 2 seasons of his footballing life. Not guaranteeing he will be any good tho.

Both weren't at their best yesterday granted but law and McManus have been decent recently so will cut them some slack. Law stopped a certain goal with a block after McManus error too. And McManus assisted our goal. Both need to be better on Saturday however although that could be said for most of the team. There's a lot of knee jerking went on yesterday and I was guilty of it too. We need to take something positive (including points) from our next two games though or the knives are going to be out for Mcghee. For what it's worth I still think he's the man for the job.

For what is worth (not a lot I know) but I would have started three in midfield today too so not going to criticise too much on that part cause that's where Inverness have had our number in the past. But Mcghee seemed more determined to prove he was right and accept a draw at home to Inverness in the cup.
