Good shout, thanks id forgotten about the Tram 👍

Driving through to Edinburgh for the game today, any suggestions re best place to park and any decent pubs close to Tynecastle where i can enjoy an alcohol free lager or two 😀
-
Given the bad weather overnight in Edinburgh and continuing today apparently is there any chance the game will be called off?
-
A bit of sound advice for tonight guys, when midnight arrives, wait at least 5 mins before celebrating until VAR confirms it. 👍

Found his level

Aye that's the script I'm looking at as well 😬 but it depends what Motherwell team turns up, if it's the team from yesterday then I reckon we will get a win, so here's hoping.
-
That's the fundamental issue here, The ugly sisters, complain at every opportunity, shamelessly use a compliant media to demand clarification as they like to say, it's about time the other clubs did the same, demand answers, call out the technology, bad officials etc. If all the other 10 Premiership clubs start to call out the shit show that VAR is, then maybe things might change for the better. It won't happen but we all live in hope that it does.
-
The EPL seems to have resolved the dodgy "millimetres" offside and dubious line drawing by the semi automated offside technology (SAOT). The Problem we have is that the SFA /SPFL are implementing VAR on ghe cheap, bargin basement systems not fit for purpose, not enough cameras etc and add in the incompetence of the Scottish referees then is it any wonder we get bargin basement shit decisions.

It seems the KMI panel agree with you re the Butland incident, another incorrect VAR call in their opinion. Motherwell - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/motherwell
-
I agree, but when when VAR is being used to actively look for reasons to disallow every goal, instead of its main purpose of clear and obvious errors, we are going to get this nonsense week in week out.
-
Yes he did, his arm is on Butlands shoulder, clancy called it as a foul right away.
-
Watch the highlights, Watts arm was on the keepers shoulder, whether it stopped him jumping is debatable but you are never going to get away with that, clancy called it as a foul right away and VAR confirmed it. As for the 2nd incident it's Casey who is off with the 1st header, he is leaning forward so head and shoulder is offside, again it might only be millimetres but when they draw the lines it's offside.. I personally think it's pish but until they scrap it or come up with a better version we have to suffer it. Nobody would have complained if they had been Rangers goals that Var disallowed.
-
They decided not to disallow the goal because no offence took place, Stamas arm was tight to his body, correct decision for a change.

3 men in possession of pyros of whatever description arrested close to Tynecastle stadium on the day of a Hearts v Hibs Derby, aye you don't need to be Columbo to work out what their intentions were, guilty as charged.
-
The 2 playoff games in 2015, the league cup semi in 2017, granted against weaker Rangers teams than they have now, but it can be done. Sitting back and letting rhem come on to us, hoping to keep them out only ever ends in defeat. Rangers are fragile at the back get right into them from the start and we have a chance.
-
Let's be honest, pumped by a much better team, anything we get from these games is a big bonus, that only happens very occasionally. The ugly sisters, the green one especially very rarely drop points two games in a row, we have a better chance of a result on Sunday against the blue uglies as they are brutal at times.
-
Nonsense he should be off the referees list altogether, the laws of football and interpretation of them are the same in the Premier league or Sunday league. If it was like real jobs the incompetent and unsuitable would be out on their backsides and replacements identified, football is no different
-
Correct decision made, but probably no action taken against the referee, I assume the SFA/ referees closing ranks again, that what annoys me the most, no accountability no apology to the club etc it's a disgrace.
-
It was a general statement they made on VAR ruining the game, not specific to the Casey incident.
-
Have the fear as well but that's the best attitude to have when playing the ugly sisters, pure pessimism that way whatever the result you are never disappointed.
-
The incident was being discussed on sky sports football by the English pundits as well Dave, concensus was it was a ridiculous decision, and VAR is ruining the game. Upholding the appeal is tantamount to an admission of guilt that the ref got it badly wrong, so it will be an interesting decision.
-
Blair Spittal scoring again for Hearts today, to give them a 2-1 win.
-
Celtic were well off it today, the untd keeper only had 1 real save to make, I hope they are the same on Thursday.
-
Aw is playtime over now and your back in class in a huff.
-
We are not the ugly sisters so the refereeing body will say feck all, as will the SFA, media, etc and the same incompetent officials will still be turning out to referee games next week with no accountability. If VAR ask the ref to review, they obviously think he's got it wrong so why not just tell him that, it's not a red card and get on with it, as if he ignores the VAR advice what's the point of them being there., Scottish football is fecked if that's how we are proceeding.
