Yes the top goal scorer is a motherwell player a winger/ midfielder where the vast majority of our goals have come from, who will soon be going off to play in the AFCON tournament and be unavailable for a month at least. So presumably our alleged strikers will step up and fill the gap, very unlikely so i hope we have signing targets identified.

Lets not kid ourselves here, Stamatelopoulos does not fit the system we play apart from a few penalties he has been brutal and shows no sign of improvement, most games he played he was anonymous. Hendry puts himself about and does show promise so time will tell on him. We definately need at least 1 striker brought in during January, probably 2 as what we currently have is not working.

So not much difference from our current alleged strikers then. sometimes players need a change, step down a league to regain their confidence etc. The point im msling is that previous performznces counts for nothing look at Theo Bair before we signed him so never say never, maybe JBA could get the best from him, and being honest the bar is not set that high with our current options.

I dont think any of Boyles actions, decisions etc were made with any malicious or fradulent intent, for me it was just naievety and a lack of understanding of the particular environment re football in west central scotland. Nonsense. Hanley is brutal and JBA knew that so he set us up to nullify the rest of the Hibs back line and put pressure on thd weak link in the Hibs defence. Anytime Hibs had the ball our pressing meant that Hanley was left alone and as such he was their only outball, JBA,s tactics were spot on and eventually won us the game.

For a club like Udinese spending £4 or £5 million on a young player to develop etc is loose change to them. He was brought in as a project and not as a regular 1st pick starter as most on here thought he would be, he will get his chance.

Utter bullshit regarding St Mirrens 4th goal, the VAR team are agreed that the StM player looks at the motherwell player and then deliberatly leans into him to stop him getting the ball so they say foul and ask the ref to have another look, so all good so far. Then the ref looks again, ignores var and says it was a " normal football challenge ffs" and says nah im sticking with the original decision, so wtf is the point of VAR getting involved only for refs to ignore them, utter nonsense.
