  1. Would love to say yes, but I really can't see it happening. They are nothing special just now but they are getting all the luck, dodgy penalties, keepers wiping out players and no action taken etc. However if we can stay organised in defence, take our chances when they come and not give them cheap goals we have a chance of getting a result, SK will be a legend at Fir Park if he can get us 3 points and end the over 20 year wait for a league win, heart says a great result, head says another 1 goal defeat.

The K Park is only developed on the one side the other 3 are just chain link fences so plenty of free observation points available for the financially challenged 😀 I think spectators are allowed though, but I can't confirm if an entry fee is charged.
  3. My thoughts as well Kilmarnock are brutal, especially away from that shitey pitch of theirs, the 4 points we've dropped to them this season annoys me, especially the Fir park game.
  4. "Pot belly Slattery" seriously mate that's feckin garbage patter, have a word with yourself 🤦‍♂️
  5. Thats the best thing for a forum thread
  6. 65% win or draw, that's a fairy decent record to be fair, let's hope we continue to improve it on Saturday, a win would be massive, but I'd be OK with a point.
  7. 🤦‍♂️ seriously are you and EL Grew in some sort of pessimistic, never positive, doom and gloom online Trolling society, you have to be with posts like that using phrases like "vile institution" and " great wee community club", its trying too hard mate, or is it son?
  8. I guess you don't like him then, even by this forum's standards of slaughtering and writing guys off before they've kicked a ball or started work that's a feckin ridiculous post 🤦‍♂️
  9. They have appointed Goodwin as their new manager, don't know if that will help put the bin fire out, or Stoke the flames, his first game is Against Aberdeen that should be an interesting watch. Jim Goodwin: Dundee United appoint ex-Aberdeen and St Mirren manager - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64808847
  10. I would like to say that was magnificent but unfortunately it was Bad.
  11. I don't care about the performance or who scores, this is one of those games where the result and 3 points is all that matters, and hopefully it's in Motherwell's favour.
  12. I see the daily rancid are reporting that Dundee Untd allegedly want to bring in Craig Levein immediately to save their season, desperation in the extreme with that move. I'm Glad we took a bit of time and made the right choice for the club with SK.
  13. So far this season as brutal as we have been we have 27 points which is 33.3% of the total available, if we continue at the same rate we are on course for a 38 point total, which should see us safe as no team has ever been relegated or landed in the playoffs with more than 37 pts. So a modest improvement over the last 11 games will see us up that percentage and end up with a 40 + points total.
  14. That's Fox been punted by Dundee untd (by mutual consent), so they might be due their new manager bounce, so we really should be looking to win this one.
  15. Saved us?? from the match reports it seems the killie keeper played a blinder to stop us scoring on several occasions, so it sounds like a well deserved point to me, and for me any game where we don't lose is never dismal.
  16. Shields was good at championship level, thats why we signed him, but turned out to be not up to premiership standard.
  17. The next time we lose the usual suspects will be all over this thread with the "I told you it was a bad appointment " patter
  18. Is the bubble inflated again or is it still burst?
  19. Hammell would never have got over the Hump, he was like a rabbit in the headlights no idea what to do, he could have asked for help at any time, Kettlewell was at the club ffs, so it could have been arranged no problem. I get the impression that Hammell and Kerr, knew they were out of their depth very early on and kept hoping the team would bale them out but it never happened. For me there must have been other issues, ie coaching methods, personalities, etc as the teams performances fell off a cliff very quickly.
  20. WTF is that all about, I hope nobody will be singing kettle well songs to that tune. ( need to go, Taxi is outside 😁)
  21. STV said its till May 24, so next season as well.
  22. Quite right too it was feckin assault a tackle like that outwith a football match would get you jailed, all the nonsense about no intent, didn't mean it, not red ffs he could have blinded the other player his studs were that high.
  23. It's now English premiership clubs, Brighton are allegedly keeping track of him, it's in the Sun so probably a large pinch of salt required. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/10253133/motherwell-max-johnston-english-premier-league-scouts/
  24. Do you honestly think when Motherwell advertised for a new manager there would be a single candidate without ar least 2 or 3 failures on his CV, not a chance, good managers tend not to be unemployed so SK was no different to any of the others. For me if Ross, McCann and Holloway made the shortlist then I suspect the overall quality of the applicants was not the best, I've been a critic of the board recently but in ghis case I think they've made the right decision to suit the club, so fair play yo them.
