  1. They will only be relegated tonight if they get beaten which looks likely and RC beat St Johnstone. Even if county grab a point untd can still finish above them they are 6 goals worse off than RC so they would need to beat us at least 4-0 on Sunday and hope RC don't win at Kilmarnock
  2. Plus he will equal the premiership record of scoring in 10 consecutive matches held by Mark Viduka at Celtic
  3. Unless hes up gor a drastic wage cut, I don't think he will be anywhere near Fir Park, he'll end up at Tynecastle with Hearts they have lots more cash to offer than us.
  4. For me that's the ideal scenario Dundee Untd finishing bottom and Kilmarnock and their horrible pitch getting pumped in the playoff and also going down. Ross County is a great away day so would like to see them stay up
  5. The highlights on sportscene show the 1st RC player to go down did so with no contact from a well player, so he dived, then butcher won the ball cleanly before the 2nd RC player fell over him. VAR doing what it was introduced for to stop clear and obvious errors, just a pity its taking too long and not always getting it correct.
  6. Aye to clinch 2nd place in the league, what a goal that was a tap in from 6 inches, unsaveable 😀 Dave Cormacks greetin face was priceless, too bad we never had a champions league place on offer.
  7. Too bad I never had money on that prediction 😁
  8. Both are hard working players, yes mandron looks a bit short of pace but they are the big target players we have been short of in recent years, paired up with hopefully KVV For another season I think they have goals in them.
  9. Correct he's now the new record holder, scored in 9 consecutive premiership games overtakes Craig Dargo who managed 8 games back in 2007 - 08
  10. That's not true in Scotland anymore, apparently Fannies can turn into Dicks, but in Boyds case both are relevant.
  11. I'm going for another win and clean sheet for us, KVV to score and set the new record for scoring in consecutive premiership games and add a few quid to his transfer value.
  12. Aye it was a great day, memories after about 6pm though are hazy at best, don't think I went home till the Monday, happy days.
  13. Utter pish, Clarke keeps picking him so he thinks he is but never plays him to confirm he made the correct choice that's the problem.
  14. Are you MJC in disguise, any game Motherwell play in , domestic league and Cup, European, friendlies etc should get the fans excited, even if we know getting pumped is always distinct possibility that's what being a fan is, supporting the big clubs that win week in week out is boring. The vast majority of fans up and down the country and all over the world never see their teams win anything. As for Motherwell I'm sure half the premiership teams, league 1 &2 teams fans would love to have had a fraction of the European tours we've had since 1991. In a league where we are never going to win it, Euro qualifying is the next best thing, so here's hoping we have lots more chances.
  15. He has been overlooked in meaningless friendlies and other games when he could have been played, why pick him for the squad if there was no intention to play him. The nonsense with bringing in Gunn a player who had already turned his back on Scotland highlighted the issues with Clarke. He is far too loyal to a few players who invariably under perform, his squads are full of players he has no Intention of playing. There are players like Turnbull, Campbell, Nisbet etc who never get a look in under Clarke when the pseudo Scots like Che Adams and the like are 1st picks. As you have probably guessed by now I'm not a fan of Clarke, for years we've trawled the English leagues for anyone who's parents ever ate shortbread at the expense of good home grown talent, that approach needs to stop, but it won't under Clarke.
  16. Or not as good as player as some on here think and SK does not think he would improve the team we have.
  17. So European football is a level we don't belong at ok then...even by your negative trolling standards that is a feckin ridiculous statement to make, honestly have a look at yourself ffs.
  18. Nah not for me, I'd rather have Spittal playing the Spittal role, it's obvious SK does not rate him and/ or he does not fit the type of game SK wants to play.
  19. What a lot of shite, i suspect you dont get out much to enjoy yourself, Motherwell fans know we are not going to go deep into a Euro tournament but just qualifying for them means you've had a good season either through league form or winning a cup. You mention the Europa league, finishing 3rd in the premiership a very achievable target gets you into the playoff round, 2 wins or a win and a draw from the group stages so for a team like Motherwell that's within our capabilities. Some of my proudest moments as a well fan have been at Euro games home and especially away, Katowice in our 1st ever Euro match, Dortmund, Nancy, and the Olympic stadium in Athens to watch Motherwell in the Champions league, and even in Sligo this season as a football fan its an experience not to be missed. You obviously don't like being happy or others enjoying themselves but each to their own so you batter in being a dour faced troll, the rest of us will look forward to the next Euro adventure whenever it comes.
  20. Agreed, people need to stop posting tripe and get down to the bare bones of the question, who is their man of the match choice, there is a lot at steak.
  21. At the moment he's the joint premiership record holder with Craig Dargo for scoring in 8 consecutive games, so he needs another goal on Saturday against Ross County to stand alone.
  22. Nah, killie need to go down to get rid of the shitey plastic pitches from the premiership, and next season hopefully it will be Livingston's turn.
  23. How pish must Dundee untd have been today, if they let a clown like Jordan Whyte score 3 goals, that deserves relegation.
  24. If it comes to a vote Clubs self interest and not the benefit of the game in Scotland as a whole will be the only guiding factor for their vote. The ugly sisters will vote with each other as they have always done, and the concerns of the other clubs will be ignored as usual, Motherwell, St Mirren, Montrose etc etc can complain all they like but nothing will change. The governance of the game in Scotland is not fit for purpose, its rotten to the core with too much influence held by two Clubs so unless that changes first, nothing else will.
  25. I'm long past buying replica kit but the best looking kit on that historical list is the 1920 - 24 one, the claret and Amber stripes, that's the one we should have.
