  1. ...and would have been better if we bloody tried to win the cup this season rather than surrender it to this bunch of muppets - FACT
  2. God knows how many easy passes went astray today, even an easy pass back after a throw in would be mis controlled, after Las got his yellow he just drifted out the game. I didn't even know Murphy was on the park other than the prematch announcement and when he got subbed. Humphrey wasnt used enough but still at least tried to get down the wings. Must say Jones and Jeffers would not be worth a contract on those showings subs or not made no impact whatsover. Jones for a winger always wanted to pass the ball back and inevitably had the ball taken from him even when he did venture forward. However, we gave Celtic far too much respect and so much room especially for that first goal when the player could have waited 10 minutes to shoot before a Motherwell player closed him down. Craigan did not pass one ball to any Motherwell player in that game that I could see and I am one of his biggest fans. I was hoping Kirkie paraded the cup prematch would get a strip on as the forward line today was non existent, with just Gunning shot on goal of any note for the whole match. Deeply disappointed that we never gave Celtic a game and they never look like needing to get out of training level in this game to cope with our non existent game plan.Actually was there a game plan because I did not see anything other than get the ball to Humph and keep our fingers crossed.
  3. William McShamus McCollum certainly knew to pick the referee strip with the green flashes...
  4. When the idiots inevitably do their own version of the huddle in the stands during the game we should all let out a massive cheer and watch them falling over their seats trying to face the pitch to see what happened...
  5. Can only be the '91 top...a top only fit for heroes..
  6. As it is a rather special occassion I managed to get hold of some champers and liberally threw in a few strawberries...posh drink fitting for a Cup Final win...however decided that was for poofs gave the drink to the wife and now am on the Balvenie...much much better..
  7. Yep 76-0 is pushing it, closer to 18-0 I think
  8. Quality quote between the posters after the article " Listen 'Paul Dixon', I know that these messages are a hoax. In an earlier post you said that Gary Kenneth loves to read about United legends - we all know that Gary Kenneth can't read."
  9. Yep steelboy i know a hell of a lot of ex amateurs and juniors who went onto become good grade 3-2 whistlers but refused to go further because they just didnt fancy all the crap that went with level 1 refs. Windows getting put in, getting followed home, death threats etc..and a terrible governing body who hang refs out to dry and dont back them in any way.
  10. absolute bollocks ex players...seriously..!! you are deluding yourself. Can you imagine a scottidh cup final between the old firm refereered by someone like Terry Butcher...fuck off non starter. can you imagine the can of worms that would open up it would send the game into freefall. can you imagine the paranoia of Celtic fans then. I know you say it may not be ex SPL players but the thought of an ex professional player being a ref is a non starter And do you seriously think a player would be remotely neutral if 'his' team was playing in a crucial game and he had the final say in a last minute penalty decision. Fantasy land and I for one would be the first to be in the No queue and quite vociferous about it. The game is bad enough without ex professionals being refs. Would lead to all sorts of bother in the terracing if there was even a hint of favouritism from one of the old boys
  11. Nice to see the Well support standing and cheering to a man for each of the subs...well done guys great support. Guys will be buzzing in the dressing room
  12. Yes, but it is the Motherwell support, we are as changeable as the weather. Cloud 9 just now, superb considering how threadbare the squad is.
  13. Seems Utd have been asked to impose themselves physically on the game more if the start of the 2nd half is anything to go by. Think our boys will be getting kicked all over the park this half
  14. Just shows how much Jennings means to this squad, hope we can keep him
  15. Was rushed into hospital day before with a burst appendix, my seat at Hampden was empty. Was unconcious on the day of the game
  16. I note that he has dropped the forever claret and amber part of his email
  17. Can I have mine then am starving..
  18. Well usually after the game its not straight into a training session as it allows the management time to assess how the game went, what injuries we have etc, but yes I do agree somewhat, but how many times have people on here complained about the lack of communication by the club and then when they come up with this we still complain...the club can't win...Not sad just realistic and I quite like the manager's thoughts on the game, if they are patronising I am sure plenty on here will give the comments a good kicking on this forum. An email takes only about a half hour to compose so is in no way detrimental to the players training regime
  19. That didnt take long for the half empty brigade to spoil the thread..
  20. He' still falling off car roofs in Aberdeen
  21. To all the negative bastards on this site, heres what a Motherwell player can do on the world stage, we are no way inferior to any team, anywhere, long live the Well..GIRFUY..!!
  22. No point giving Casagolda a wage without at least giving him a good run out before we sign someone else
