  1. Yep, bad pennies have a habit of always turning up again.
  2. Sadly, if it makes things cheaper for the commercial entity involved, then all that other good stuff you've mentioned often just goes out the window.
  3. It's quiet on here this week. TOO quiet...
  4. The supposed big point in his favour, which atoned for other sins, was that he was good with his feet. Hmm...
  5. I log in once in a blue moon and only make the occasional post: in contrast, you post a lot; as do grizzlyg and weeyin, for example. It is what it is, and each to their own, but if everybody was like me there wouldn't be a forum. I'd hope that - in the vast majority of instances at least - misogyny isn't a factor, but I'm hardly qualified to judge.
  6. Skim back through their posts and you'll see that @stv has delivered a sarky response to most people, it's just what they do. Given you post more than most, it's not surprising you've had a few bites, but I don't think it's anything targeted/personal.
  7. Good old Urban Dictionary has you covered
  8. Not that I hold a grudge or anything, but an awfy shame to see Kettlewell's Killie lose on penalties to, er, Kelty Hearts
  9. FWIW, a quick Google of "Motherwell Fixtures" delivers the relevant information in a summary box without having to even go to an actual web page. @weeyin, whether it does so in the States is a different question.
  10. Good points. I joined in 2016, so not a "legacy" member, but when I add it up I have paid the best part of £2.5k over the last 9 years and I'd hate to lose the right to vote. As @Brazilian says, you never know what's round the corner, finances wise. I think your "lifetime membership" idea has merit, although the initial qualifying amount might need to be higher to reflect the passage of time since 2015, and it would probably need a pre-agreed mechanism for periodic resetting to compensate for future inflation.
  11. "I strongly disagree with the changes for adult members". Perfectly fine. "I strongly disagree with the changes for adult members, you bunch of twats". Probably not fine And... I've just deleted the paragraph I was typing about membership rights because Philip has just explained it so much better than I ever could.
