Despite fact we were unbeaten in 6 games before that with a new team still being formed ( one being approx £500,000). Plus a horrendous injury list. Yet.......we are 2 games away from group stage of European football which is incredible. Yes a tough ask but with a bouncing fir park on Thursday right behind AJ and lads then hopefully it keeps us in with a chance. This game totally different from Sunday. Over 10,000 i reckon, a proper pitch and big guns back in starting line-up. We need to create a brilliant atmosphere and get right behind AJ and the lads. We know this is a massive gulf in class but would be great if we could avoid defeat. Freiburg not played competitive game yet

I still think AJ had a tough call to make yesterday. Look at our injury list which now has Priestman added. Also look at that pitch yesterday. We could have played full team, won 1-0 but have 3 more out due to muscle issues. Last thing we need is JK, longelo, faddy and Moormann out. Players need to look at themselves. Big opportunity yesterday for some and they didnt take it.

At start of season Europe is the aim, we qualify , have so far won 2 ties. I would have loved a win today but we also don't know fitness of our squad so AJ made a call today which I agreed with but didnt work. My final point before I focus on Thursday. I think Scottish cup at Aberdeen was worse than today. We had genuine chance last season but JBA rested players thinking we still had league chances ( which was never happening). AJ is juggling europe with domestic fixtures. Also we have 6 out injured and now priestman so I fully understand the line up which also I dont think was that bad. If we had lost to helsinki....won today then drawn away to sellik in quarters would that be better? For me its no. We have earned good money so far un Europe and Thursday is a fixture we don't get to experience much abd we should all make the most of it . COYW
