I don't think things will go back to bad old days. I think last night was just at lot of frustration at a missed opportunity and a questionable starting line up. I am now fully focused on the league and hopefully a memorable finish

To be fair our mentality in the league has been s**t hot so far. We bounced back before so we all need to get right behind team and JBA for 12 massive games

Anyhoo after the st mirren semi final defeat look at how we have bounced back plus Welsh will be available again. I expect a reaction from players on Saturday and hopefully get back to winning ways. Morning after and I think we have all aired our frustrations and for me it's all about bouncing back and continuing our incredible league form. Jens is best thing to happen to this club in years but that shouldn't mean we aren't allowed to criticise when he gets things wrong which he did last night. Anyway it's done now. I think what tipped me over edge was watching that horrible character Shinnie who for years has been the exact same in antagonising opponents and getting in the refs face. Total prick

Back to league business and perfect response would be to get a massive 3pts and have a right go at finishing as high up league as we can, no squad rotation, put the big guns out as we are now a game a week as Dundee away now sat 7th March. If we could win the league it would be unbelievable but realistically that ain't going to happen. 3rd I do believe is possible but only if we can bounce back . A worry is Maswanhise who just doesn't look same player since transfer window closed. We also cant afford a lot of injuries

Winning a cup is our only chance of silverware and most other clubs in premier league and also Inverness and Ross Co have experienced it more recently than us If we got group stage Europe football it would be great but realistically that wont happen

I think come next few days we will all be a bit more calm. I have been more animated tonight than I have been in years but mainly cause I started to think this could be our year and I just think JBA made huge blunder with line up. But we move on and a win v st mirren would be perfect tonic

I think problem tonight also is our expectations go through the roof due to the amazing season we have had so far. Also a lot of us genuinely thought this could be our year and if we had lost 2-0 with strongest xi then it would be easier to accept. But poor team selection has cost us. Not first time JBA has done this in cup ( benching Welsh for st mirren semi was another big error) It's a learning curve and beat st mirren and we are all smiling again

Correct...it is Aberdeen away so why make so many changes. JBA is an absolute legend and what he has brought this season is immense but that doesn't mean he cant be criticised when he gets it wrong which he certainly did tonight.

Best chance in years and cocked up by JBA maybe believing the hype. That starting line up all wrong. What you do is start strongest team and put them out of sight then change it. No complaints about reds...if they ate up other end you are screaming for them. However.........it is a bad night but this season still been immense and a lot if football left. Let's focus on finishing 4th at worst and getting a reaction on Saturday. COYW
