  1. Dundee Utd are worth their point so far. I've always thought Utd won't go down and I still don't think they will
  2. The big difference we don't try and play out from the back Under Hammel it was side to side pish making no progress into dangerous positions. You need a really good midfield to play like that. We clear our lines and don't piss about at the back. We play to our strengths and sure it's not pretty but we can grind out results and that's what matters right now.
  3. Yeah I've always thought Du have better players than their position suggests and if they get a new manager bounce it puts pressure on us RC and Kilmarnock. That said it's in our hands and they'd all swap positions with us. If we get a result at RC I will be convinced the last 3 games weren't a fluke. We were abysmal first half Saturday and cannot afford to start any games like that. I do accept that pitch doesn't help but our decision making first half still is a worry.
  4. Saw a remarkable stat, well I thought it was remarkable, we are only 7 points worse off than we were this time last season. We only had 34 points from 27 games last season and we ended up in Europe. It must have been one pish league last season 😁😁😁
  5. Yeah but that percentage was 28% of points available until two weeks ago , so if we revert to pre Kettlewell games ratio we are looking at 31 points, that's bang on automatic relegation. We just cannot return to the pre Kettlewell points average and we are a long way from safe yet. I think we need 7 points minimum until the break meaning we are not in the "one slip and done for" territory after the split. We need an insurance policy for the last 5 games.
  6. I suspect 37 point might be needed to avoid the drop or play off. We would need 10 points. 6 or 7 points before the split would be perfect but still a hard ask.
  7. I don't know if there is something unique about their artificial surface. Generally when I watch us on them I think we use it as a convenient excuse when we've been pish but yesterday I genuinely couldn't believe some of the bounces coming off that surface, that's was as bad as I've seen a ball play on any artificial surface.
  8. We deserved a point at the very least. Kilmarnock had two chances in the entire game including their goal. The stats on this game don't lie.
  9. Our previous two wins turned that game from a must win game for us to a must not lose and that's exactly what we did. If we can get away from from Ross County without a defeat I'll be reasonably happy. We should then have both Killie and RC at Motherwell after the split. The Dundee Utd game at Fir Park will be huge. Hope they don't have a new manage bounce going on by then.
  10. The surface does affect the game. Motherwell players were slipping and falling and you could see they were struggling with the bounce of the ball. I'm not excusing that first half dross. They were better in the second half without being good and we got what we deserved. We were worth at least a draw.
  11. It's was no more that we deserved, we were shite but we created more than Killie and it could be argued on chances created we should have won.
  12. OBika is not good in the air , so why the fuck did we give him every ball over his head. He needs the ball into his body and feet as we did against Hearts.
  13. First Shout I ever heard about Peter Millar "Haw Miller your playing like a lump of meat" to which a reply was shouted "Naw he's no you can cure meat"
  14. Maybe Burrows has tapped him up for the Aberdeen job..... In football anything is possible.😄😄😄😄
  15. He failed in one season at RC his other seasons were a success.
  16. Free hit tomorrow , thats a real bonus that we have a game we are always likely to lose without the result it impacting our league position. I would take a point right now , a win would be beyond fabulous .
  17. Not for me a ridiculously expensive gamble where we are sitting.
  18. Club can only do so much , if he has a storming finish to the season I don't suspect he will stay with us.
  19. They have taken a further option in tickets and have sold 3300 , if we could only get 5000 of our own support out would make for a great atmosphere. Hearts don't play great football but they create lots of chances and have a great attacking flair. I don't see us getting anything , would happily take a draw right now if offered.
  20. I was actually hoping we might have got Tony Watt back in the January window but fuck me based on last night how wrong could I be. I also don't get the narrative he's not match fit. He's been in training every week the whole season. He has gone backwards by quite some measure since he left us.....
  21. I can't understand any of these "oh fuck naw" responses to the numerous names linked to the job. None of the names have an unblemished records and all will have had poor spells at other clubs. That's the market we are in. If they had unblemished records they wouldn't be coming to us. The only one I wouldn't want is John Hughes and it's purely based on the irrational position that I just can't stand the sight or sound of him. 😁😁
  22. I think his maw might have difficulty with him coming 😄😄😄
