  1. Not at all, Im not excusing it Im just reiterating that there is nothing unique in the Motherwell support. Every club has their arseholes and the numbers will be proportionate to the size of their support.
  2. You think this kind of thing only happens at Motherwell of all the football clubs in this country ? Nonsence https://www.si.com/soccer/liverpool/news/gini-wijnaldum-reveals-why-he-left-liverpool
  3. Exactly there is NOTHING unique about Motherwell fans as supporters they are the same everywhere.
  4. We did win ugly I thought we were poor from the half way line forward. Defensively we were sound first game in a long time we never gave the opposition gilt edges chances. A very welcome 3 points and I'm sure SH is well aware of the shortcomings and will work on them.
  5. Was there supposed to be a club announcement at 7pm or have I picked this up wrong
  6. No doubt his agent feeding the story to increase interest, like you I'd doubt we will be making him the best offer.
  7. Thank god I thought I was the only one it irritated. Its like these odd folk at the golf who shout "in the hole" all the time
  8. If he's willing to play for £1500 a week sure no probs with that, won't be happening and anyone wanting him will need to give UTd some kind of fee I'd suspect. However nothing to suggest his UTD days are over and at £160,000 a goal for UTD he could be there a while.
  9. It was a fine result great entertainment, the arrogance of Aberdeen fans is off the scale. You'd think with the shite they've endured over 25 years that would have been knocked out of them a bit. Weekend also topped off with Tony Watts Dundee UTD career starting to implode. Their fans are hanging him out to dry and apparently a big bust up with him and Jack Ross at Tynecastle. .... Karma is a lovely thing.
  10. It will be tough but if we play as we did yesterday a defeat may not have been as predictable as it previously was. That said their big centre forward looks a handful so our defence will need to perform better than it has of late.
  11. Exactly Motherwell fans were not being unreasonable with the views of games under GA we know it's swings and roundabouts but it is an entertainment business so it's not unreasonable to expect some. That was great today, nerve jangling up n downs but interspersed with some lovely football... That's what it's all about.
  12. I was just wondering how we do that we seem stuck in a loop of those kind of goals conceeded and doesn't seem to change no matter the permutation. Mind you I don't give a fuck today I'd rather just think of the decent football I watched.
  13. Outstanding performance... nothing else needs said
  14. Totally agree I think had Lammie not scored that last minute header to get us into the top six he would have been punted then.
  15. We don't know who expressed an interest. There could have been some great applications but outside our budget. The club are not in a precarious position. The Well society have cash reserves. The stadium had been updated using cheap Government funding and have played two games into a season. GA was punted to ensure we don't end up in a precarious position. Precarious is being Dundee up to their arse in debt and in the Championship.
  16. None of the names mentioned were inspiring. I certainly wasnt excited about Valikari, Lambert, Thomson and the like ... The market we operate in its highly unlikely to get someone to excite anyone.
  17. " He knows what the fans are like " and he still wanted the job...he's mad ...
  18. There are positives in that he's been watching the same utter shite we have for 8 months so he will know probably better than the other candidates where we need to sign players whereas the other candidates might have taken longer to suss that out and time is of the essence.
  19. Christ the Lord Almighty himself couldnt give us great European nights.
  20. Why would Valakari do a job for us , why would any of the names do a job for us. Remember folk falling over themselves with joy when we appointed GA. Said at the time I didnt rate GA and he did nothing to change that view. Truly the worst football I've ever watched. As I said every manager we get is a risk. I just happen to think Lennon would do a job for us. As someone has already said its not even a consideration just something throwing his name in but I remain in a position where it wouldn't upset me if he was in the frame.
  21. Id still take a chance if he was available, anyone we get is a punt.
  22. I think you are right I still think it will be Valakari which I'm completely neutral about.
  23. Sadly true but still reckon hed do a job for us.
  24. it would be mayhem but above all he has a track record and can manage but hed be too expensive and the club know we have an element in our support whod never take to him.
