well time will tell how often over a season that tactic pays off for us. I'm delighted we won but to shut up shop against a mediocre team like Livingston especially when we actually had them on the back foot I find utterly baffling , Against the bigger and better teams I could maybe understand but going into that ultra defensive formation at the very point in the game when we had started to dominate for me is poor. The problem for Hastie is he is now 2 years from his "purple patch" and has done the square root of bugger all anywhere he's been since. If hes going to turn into a player he better start showing something now or his career will drift into oblivion. Mind you he is a prime example of why players should jump at a big money move. Dunne ,and Crawford are a worry that GA thinks they are worth keeping but with the release list he has created capacity. Ill reserve judgement until GA has recruited in full.

what im saying is we had a shite squad but not as bad as kilmarnocks. They were easily worse. They had one threat and that was Lafferty , as poor as we were we had two or three options up front.

if Kilmarnock had appointed Graham Alexander they'd still have gone down . He inherited a squad of absolute shite.
