Ariyibi for me, loved watching him at times.

Was he really, his last few games for us showed he was a one trick pony and was he not getting subbed off ? What has he actually done since that shows the club made a massive mistake in not rushing in to offer an improved contract after half a dozen games ? I think the club had doubts about his attitude moving forward and certainly did not expect him to make the short term impact that he did. In my view Hastie could well end up playing lower league Scottish football within a couple of years, we will end up being too good a club for him.

The timing is probably right if true. Hartley was perfect for the way we “used” to play, he’s pretty much a round peg in a square hole these days. Even so sad to see him go, he will do a very solid job at another club.

Agree, a trophy really would cement his time at the club.

Given every club is going to be impacted I don’t see us being impacted any more or less than any other club.

No just don’t listen. He’s been asked about it and replied, he’s signed an extended contract and done the right thing by the club, that’s all that matters.

Ok I guess the information that many were looking for, I feel it’s the right move. Good to see the continued support shown with the substantial increase in season ticket sales, not sure however that we will end up with a huge increase on this season and probably just many people showing support by committing early.

Yep pretty much, I simply replied to a post by David with what I see from time to time on various threads. Some of the criticism just seems illogical at times with nothing to back it up, taking a pop for taking a pop’s sake.

Absolutely, people just need to show patience and a little trust, they have done nothing to suggest they have anything but the best interest of the club at heart and appear to be doing a pretty good job on the financial front. No idea what some of the anti Burrows stuff is about.

We will be renewing. The club continues to get stronger and stronger and have just paid off the debt. In order to carry that forward they need our support now more than ever.

The season is done.

Cases will rise rapidly very quickly. I work in social work and we expect huge changes, working from home if possible at management level with the roles of many other staff changing. Whether they made the decision today, next week, or the week after it was going to be made. Holding off a week or so just to play another game makes little sense looking at the bigger picture.

As much as I was looking forward to tonight it’s probably the right decision, in the end it’s only football.
