For what it’s worth a couple of my thoughts We weren’t pish and looked good at times but as with most games this season, we couldn’t create/convert decent chances. (Lack of 2 or 3 quality players due to our financial structure which I’ve pointed out before could have been slackened with the cash generated over the last 12 months to allow us a better chance in Europe & domestically - even taking Covid into account) They should have had a player sent off in the first half but the ref thought different. They should have had a penalty earlier in the second half. Was Lambie out of position at the first goal? ( if we were playing a zonal defence for set pieces and Lambie was to cover the front area then I’d say it’s the guy who was supposed to be covering the middle of the goals who was missing ) although his passes back to the keeper always give me the fear of being short or wayward. Finally I’m pissed off at us always looking for a rough diamond and just wish we would sign someone who is already cut and just needs polished or reset

Never going to happen but with the money from DT in the bank which should help improve training facilities and help the club tick over this season, i’d use the money from Europe to sign AC on an extended contract at about £3000 a week and three new proven players ( 1 defender, 1 midfield & 1 striker) on £4-5k a week on two year deals with the view to moving one or two of them on next summer to recoup the money. could help get us through to the group stages - giving a instant payback - and should be enough to get us clear of trouble this season.

If the game is played in Israel what is the KO time here? Working backshift next week so wondering if I will see any of it.

Apart from 5 years of solid goalkeeping which lead to a couple of successful seasons. It’s not all about cash return although that would have been a bonus.

You can buy as many strikers as you want but if we can’t get the ball to them inside the box then you’re wasting money.

Is the final play off round not two legged to ensure that big teams don’t get dumped out by a freak result?

Infrastructure around any new stadium would be in conjunction with the council/gov but should have its own parking - possibly shared with the college - so no need for a bridge unless it improves accessibility . As for a station, with the amount of new houses planned for that area I’d expect that there are already plans for a stop somewhere within that area given the move towards environmental impacts. Ideally as their are two train lines either side of the area, a station on both lines would be ideal allowing the station to be used for concerts or other events which would create extra income and with two station one could be used for away fans and one for home fans - but I that’s more of a pipe dream.

If we move to the site in the Craig stated above then I’d like to see a train station built next to the ground which could also serve the college during the week as well.

Since the club sold striker JS, off the top of my head, we’ve signed strikers Tony Watt and Callum Lang - does this not constitute an attempt to improve us? Looking at them so far I’d say TW has underperformed (although I do believe he is a good player if he can get his act together) and CL has just arrived and should be allowed time to settle before deciding he’s not good enough.

For the second game in a row I’m going for Mugabi again - apart from one slip he played a great game.
