Not sure if you class me as one of the folk you’re talking to but given the five games were Rangers(H), StM(A),Hearts(A), Kilmarnock(H) & Dundee(A), then probably not in previous seasons but given the percentage of possession we’ve had in the games and the nature of draws where we’ve failed to add another goal or even hold on from a winning position, then yes I am concerned at - what I perceive to be - the amount of points we’ve dropped. Having said that I’m not panicking, more frustrated.

Sorry to say as some of the football is great to watch but 5 games undefeated or 5 games without a win, whatever way you say it, that’s another 2 points dropped. Not good enough.

He could now go on a run where he doesn’t make any mistakes for the next 3 months so I’m still happy to let him stay in goals for the next game at least unless JBA has different ideas.

What a load of bullshit. The guys a good player and no where near out of his depth ffs he was capped for Australia last year and then spent most of the season out injured.

Sad news, great player with outstanding awareness and defence splitting passes that - not taking away from Pettigrew’s abilities - gave Pettigrew the chances.

All in all it’s been a great close season/transfer window. Yes we could have done with an extra player or two but that’s always the case for most teams. I really don’t think that our season will be defined by not getting an extra player or two. What we have is a good team playing good football so let’s sit back and enjoy the next few months.

Various reasons, player can pick up an injury at any time or an accumulation of cards could see him missing games. I’m not overly concerned that either of those things will happen but they’re is a possibility.

Don’t think that the prices are that bad for a quarter final

Just checked the official site and see the ticket prices have been announced Adult £25 concessions £18 under 18 £10 under 12 £5 Also running a bus at £25 a seat which seems a bit steep but I don’t know the cost of hiring a bus for a day so maybe it’s not.

Let’s hope the medical staff have got thing right this week, one CB apparently failed his medical on Saturday (unknown medical history)and Welsh (said by some on here to be prone to injury) passed his today. If Welsh is on the physio’s bench by Friday I’m going to think they’re at it and just keeping themselves in a job

BBC report is quiet ambiguous says he’s on his way out but doesn’t mention if it’s permanent.

Where would you put him with Gordon and Balmer?

They must see something in him. Although he’s been on loan they must still be paying some of his wages so if he’s that bad with no chance of a return they would have punted him for next to nothing unless his wage is so high he’s decided not to leave without a payoff.

Heard that last night but was hoping for a permanent central defender signing rather than a loan but any improvement is better than none I suppose.

I’m of the view that we don’t need any negative atmosphere before the game starts. A few of our team worked with him and possibly still like the guy so any shit shouted at him could potentially inadvertently knock their thoughts/concentration at the start of the game.

I like Ewan and believe he’s still a good player so hopefully this will benefit his development.

I’d take him back as a permanent move to see if we can improve him and sell him on in 2 years but a loan deal would be pointless unless Rangers are willing to give us some cash for our work.
