A player getting injured (or feigning injury) does not in itself automatically mean a foul has been committed. Even less so once the incident is reviewed by VAR. It’s a contact sport and collisions etc happen all the time, and most of these are not caused by illegal play. What we’re seeing with refs and VAR now is a total misunderstanding of the game and constant power trips by incompetent buffoons who are never held to account for their continual mistakes. The game is fucked because of shite refs and an even worse application of VAR.

Balcombe is shite and isn't our keeper. Ox should be in goals next weekend or I'll begin to question Wimmer's eyesight. I'd also like us to not bother appealing Balmer's red card as he too is shite.

Unless Wimmer makes some significant changes for this game, we’re getting pumped.

Wimmer keeps talking about getting a ‘picture’ of the players to help him make decisions on tactics and formation. My question is how long will it take for him to get the required ‘picture’ that some of the players he continues to pick should be shown the door now?! Make no mistake, this squad in its current form will see him lose his job next season unless he eviscerates it. But right now, he needs to pick players willing to fight for survival, and there’s not many of them.

As I said earlier in the week, Wimmer needs to send the majority of this squad packing as soon as possible. And if we go down, the blood is on Kettlewell’s hands.

I think it’s pretty obvious from Wimmer’s interviews that Halliday is going to be offered a new deal.

Several of those players starting today have to make amends for last weekend or they can kiss their future Motherwell careers goodbye.

I’d love to see a Motherwell manager bring in the right players to play a 4-2-3-1, but I’ve got a feeling that Wimmer will stick with the 3-4-1-2 / 3-4-2-1 next season.

It could be argued that its most important function has been to protect the club from the actions and desires of its executive board members last year.

Every player with a contract ending this season should be shown the door. Including loanees. Even some of those under contract for next season should be moved on, if at all possible. We need a complete clear out and reset; otherwise, what’s the point in Wimmer being here?!

Ox is ours and should absolutely be getting more game time than Balcombe. Regardless, the latter is no good anyway. We’ve also got Calum Ward until the end of the season to keep them on their toes.

It’s either a case of: them all being shitebags someone has finally had a word in Kettlewell’s ear to advise him to stop spouting shit as it’s being detrimental to his employability and making him look like an idiot he’s legally not allowed to discuss Motherwell anymore for whatever reason (e.g. contractual severance pay?) or all of the above
