I have not been to a game all season since the Kuban game, mainly due to family life and not getting the time to go to the games. I will be back but not sure when. Today sounds like a shocker and to be honest it's been on the cards. I am pretty scunnered with football in general. I feel the gap between the rich and poor is getting wider. The fact we made a loss in Europe said it all for me and proved to me that fifa, Uefa and the rest want a rich mans playground and us and other teams will find less and less rewards for doing well. What am I getting at? Well it's a feeling of what's the point... We are scraping the bottom of the barrel for players and ours and many other teams youth policies are just not producing the goods (apart from Dundee utd who seem to be excellent at it) and this is where we will make money. We struggle to provide the right deals for players and lose them for nothing and it's now bit us in the arse. I get more excited playing 5 a sides these days and really struggle to get even remotely excited about professional football these days. Sad times.

Amazing that we are supposedly a bit shite this season but still third and have 25 points on the board. McCall is doing a super job with a much weaker team than last season. Very good result today.

If you lose Murphy, Humphrey, Law, Ojamma and a 30 goal a season front man and replace them with poorer players then of course we are going to struggle. Throw into the mix Faddy who has not been fit then its even more of an up hill task. Here is our team from our best result and performance of last season. I actually think its miraculous we are so high up the table considering the surgery McCall has had to perform on the team with virtually no money to play with. I do agree we need to bleed in the youngsters more - just get rid of Anier and play Moore - to me Anier is a pointless addition to the squad if he goes in January. That could have been 6 months with Moore in the first team.

My tuppenceworth. We have not replaced the players that left in the summer with similar quality as we don't have the money to buy like for like. Our player budget is tiny and with no money coming in on transfer fees it has had a direct effect on the quality on the pitch. Hence you get results like Wednesday night.

Bit harsh. He made a wonder save from the overhead kick and then almost kept Mays shot out. As for his slip - the pass from Ramsden was shite and put him in an uncomfortable position and he slipped in quite a big puddle - could happen to anyone.
