Null vote is for wanks. Adam Cummins is 19 years old has played 4 competitive games and puts in a brilliant performance against a highly experienced side and some people still think that's not good enough.

I went into the game with the fear thinking we would get pumped 5 or 6 nil. I was expecting Levante to be all about us with that tippy tappy style that is all over Spain right now, but no they were like the Dunfermiline of La Liga. Big old brusiers who had almost fuck all going forward, but were pretty tight at the back. Thats what makes it really dissapointing in that they were not an amazing side and we had a great chance to do something against them, but nearly every player on the pitch with exception of Randolph, Cummings and Hutchinson were shite. Just too many players having really bad nights. Hopefully we can go to Spain and do something, because I do believe if we can get all 11 men on the park to play a blinder we might be able to do soemthing against this team.

Also Motherwell a few weeks back said any deal was dead so for them now to release this statement makes me think Faddy himself has came to Motherwell looking to sort out something. If he is ever to play at the top level again he needs game time and at Motherwell if fit he would be the first name on the team sheet every week.

I would be very suprised if Motherwell tried to put a spin on this. All the time I have supported them they have never been ones to talk about transfers unless they are very much a done deal. This makes me think he might be very closing to signing a deal with us.

Can we put this in the pointless drivel thread? Here are the facts. Scottish football is pish. Motherwell and Dundee Utd were both papped out of Europe easily. We are miles behind other nations and we need to sort it right now for the future of our game.

Based on that performance last night I am really looking forward to the season ahead. Ramsden and Hutch will get better and I felt Ramsden use of the ball was not bad. Hutchison made a few mistakes but overall was very impressive considering he had hardly played. Would not be surprised to see a big club come in for him soon. Has all the attributes to play at the highest level. Law and Lasley in the middle is a revelation. Both were brilliant last night and already I am thinking this could end up working out better than the Lasley Jennings partnership as its a more dangerous combination. Humphrey was his frustrating self last night and needed more composure on the ball, but he will roast a good few full backs this season. Murphy I thought was excellent last night and his on the ball running was first class. Again would not be surprised if he goes either this month or in January. Ojamma was hounded out the game, but his pass to cut open the defence shows he has that killer touch that could get us goals. Just needs to look up more. Higdon was useful up front and some better knock downs and we could have been in a few times. Hammell and Hately were as usual brilliant - so important for the team. What impressed me the most was our passing and our determination to win the ball back. Play like that against Ross County and we should get the three points. Long hard season ahead with such a small squad, but last night the potential was shown that we could once again achieve a Champions League place. Bring it on!
